Cardcaptors Movie 1 — Mysterious Birds

Sakura is standing on water in the deserted basement. さくらは、荒廃した地下で、水面の上に立っている。
Sakura	This dream again. またこの夢だ。
Sakura looks up to the skylight, when two birds alight on the iron bar. She runs about ten feet ahead to take a better look at the birds. She senses somthing behind, and looks back to find a sorceress float just below the skylight. さくらが明かり取りを見ると、2羽の鳥が鉄格子に留まっている。さくらは3メートルくらい走って、鳥をよく見ようとする。さくらは背後に気配を感じて振り向くと、明かり取りのすぐ下に、魔導師が浮いているのが見える。
Sakura	Who are you? あなた誰?
The sorceress is in an eastern sorcery costume which has long ribbons fluttering. The ribbons suddenly leap to Sakura. She extents her arm to grab one of the ribbons. その魔導師は東洋魔術の衣装をまとい、長い帯がはためいている。その帯が突然、さくらめがけて飛んでくる。さくらは手をのばして、帯をつかもうとする。
Sakura wakes up. さくらは目を覚ます。
Sakura	Ohh... [Sits up] That... the dream again. It... it was just so strange. うぅぅ... [体を起こす] また... あの夢。なんか... おかしいな。
Sakura's party are out for lunch. Juliand orders the food. さくらの一行は、昼食を食べに来ている。雪兎は食べ物を注文する。
Julian	And, we'd like four of these, all four of that four, bunch of these and four of this one, too. それから、これ4つとあれも4つ、これをまとめて、それからこいつも4つ。
Waiter	Is that all, sir? 以上でよろしいでしょうか?
Julian	We'll let you know. またお願いします。
Number of baskets of dim sums are piled on their table. 点心 (テンシン) のカゴがいくつもテーブルの上に積み上げられる。
Julian	OK, dig in! さて、食べよっか!
Sakura&Madison	OK. [Sweatdrop] あはは。 [冷や汗]
Sakura	Madison, would you like to share one with me? 知世ちゃん、二人で分けて食べない?
Madison	Sure. ええ。
When Sakura lifts up the basket she wants, Kero is seen to eat a dim sum in the lower basket. さくらが気に入ったカゴを持ち上げると、ケロが下のカゴの中で点心を食べているのが見える。
Kero	Yam yam, umm? あむあむ、ん?
Sakura	Kero! ケロちゃん!
Madison	Huph! はっ!
Tori	Kero? ケロ?
Sakura covers Kero with her basket. さくらは自分のカゴをケロの上にかぶせる。
Sakura	I think I'll try something else. Yeah. やっぱり別のやつにしようかな。そうだ。
Tori	OK, what was wrong with that one? そうか、そいつがどうかしたのか?
Sakura	No, uh, uh, nothing. I just changed my mind. えっと、その、なんでもないの。ちょっと気が変わっただけ。
Tori	Well, let me see it then. なら、ちょっと見せてみろ。
Sakura	Huh! But there's so many to try. You don't want this one. はっ! 食べ物は他にもいっぱいあるし。これがほしいんじゃないでしょ。
Tori	Pass it over. [Points to the one above Kero] そいつをよこせ。 [ケロの上のカゴをさす]
Sakura	But... でも...
Tori	Pass it over now! そいつをよこせ!
Sakura takes a risk and lifts the basket, but Kero isn't seen in the lower basket. さくらは思い切って、カゴを持ち上げると、下のカゴにケロがいない。
Tori	Well, speed it up, squirt! こら、早くしろ、怪獣!
Sakura	Right. うん。
Madison	Huph! はっ!
Kero is hanging off the basket Sakura is passing to Tori. ケロはさくらが桃矢にわたそうとしているカゴにぶら下がっている。
Sakura	Aah! Took for I really did? Doesn't it look delicious, Madison? わぁっ! 残念でした。これおいしそうじゃない、知世ちゃん?
Madison	Mmm, it sure does! ええ、とっても!
Tori	Mmm... Fine, whatever. ん... ま、いっか。
Sakura picks up Kero as he tries to take another dim sum. ケロがさらに点心を食べようとするから、さくらはケロをつまみ出す。
Kero	Yeow, OK, OK! うわぁ、わぁった、わぁった!
Tori	After lunch, what do you say check out the Bird Street? 飯がすんだら、バードストリートに行ってみるか?
Sakura	Did you say Bird Street? ばーどすとりーと?
Julian	Yeah, it's the street packed with birds. うん、小鳥がいっぱいいる通りのことだよ。
Sakura	Uhh! うわぁ!
Sakura's party are walking through the Bird Street. さくらの一行はバードストリートを歩いている。
Sakura	I've never seen so many birds in one place! 一カ所にこんな鳥さんがいるの見るの初めて!
Julian	They're the most popular pet in Hong Kong. Look at all the different kinds. I'll bet some of them can learn to talk, too. 小鳥は香港でもっとも親しまれているペットなんだ。いろんな種類の鳥がいるよね。そのうちの何種類かは、言葉を覚えられるんだよ、きっと。
Sakura	That's so cool! すっご～い!
Madison is videotaping Sakura. 知世はさくらを撮影している。
Madison	Wow. まあ。
Kero	Uh, Bird Street. おぅ、バードストリートや。
Madison	You've been here? 来たことありますか?
Kero	Mm-hmm. And it hasn't changed a bit. おう。ここはちっとも変わっとらん。
Madison&Kero	Huh? あら?
Sakura is talking to three finches at a store. さくらは店先で、3羽のフィンチに話しかけている。
Sakura	Hello. Heh heh heh. こんにちは。あはは。
Madison videotapes Sakura smiling at the birds. 知世はフィンチに話しかけるさくらをビデオで撮影する。
Sakura senses a chilly aura coming from the two birds on the wire above the street. She jumps back on her feet and looks around. さくらは、通りの上にある電線に留まっている2羽の鳥の肌寒い気配を感じる。さくらは立ち上がって、あたりを見回す。
Madison	What's wrong? どうなさいました?
Sakura	It feels... like we've been watched. なんか... 見られてるような気が。
Kero	There's something strange around here. この辺り、なんかおかしいで。
Sakura	Kero, there can't be Clow Cards around here, can there? ケロちゃん、この辺にクロウカードがいるわけないよね?
Kero	No, this is different. This feels more evil. ああ、これは違う。もっと邪悪な気配や。
Julian spots the two strange birds on the wire. 雪兎は電線に留まっている不思議な鳥を見つける。
Julian	Hey, look at those ones. ねえ、あの鳥を見てよ。
Tori	Huh? They must have escaped. ん? カゴから逃げたんだろ。
Sakura looks up and finds the birds. さくらは上を見て、鳥を見つける。
Sakura	Those birds! あの鳥だ!
The birds fly away, so Sakura runs after them. 鳥は飛び立ち、さくらはその後を追う。
Madison	Sakura! さくらちゃん!
Kero	We've got to follow her. わいらも後を追うで!
Madison	OK... ええ...
Tori	Where's she running off to? さくらのやつ、どこ行く気だ?
Kero	Hurry up. はよ。
Madison	We'll be right back. すぐ戻ってきますから。
Madison begins to follow Sakura. 知世は、さくらの後を追いかける。
Tori&Julian	Huh? ん?
Sakura is chasing the birds, but when she loses the sight of them, she turns into a side street to use a magic secretly. さくらは鳥を追うが、見失ったので人に見られないように魔法を使うため、横道に入る。
Sakura	Release! Jump! レリーズ! ジャンプ!
Sakura jumps a hundred feet above the street, and succeeds in finding the birds in the spot surronded by tall builings. さくらは通りの上空数十メートまで飛び上がり、ビルに囲まれた一角に鳥がいるのを見つける。
Sakura	There! あそこだ!
Sakura bounces up and down to the spot, where she can see an old well in the center the spot surrounded by buildings. さくらはジャンプしながら、その一角に向かう。そのビルに囲まれた場所の中央には古い井戸がある。
Sakura	I'm sensing something. なにかの気配がする。
Sakura walks up to the well, and look inside. さくらは井戸まで歩いて、覗き込む。
A pair of ribbons grows out of the well behind Sakura. Once Sakura sees the ribbons looking back, she gets hypnotized. She steps up on the edge of the well, and gazes inside the well. 二本の帯が井戸から出て、さくらの背後まで伸びる。さくらが振り返って帯を見ると、たちまち、さくら催眠状態になる。さくらは井戸の縁に上がって、井戸の中をぼおっと見ている。
Li	Wake up! 目を覚ませ!
Sakura gets back to her consciousness, when the birds fly away. さくらが意識を取り戻すと、2羽の鳥は飛んでいく。
Sakura	Huh? It's you. What are you doing here? え? 李くん。どうしてここに?
As she's getting down from the well, she gets unballanced. 井戸から降りようとすると、さくらはバランスを崩す。
Sakura	Ohh, whoa, whoa... [Splashes into water] Aww! あっ、あぁ、ほええ... [水の中へ] はうう!
Madison is looking for Sakura on the Bird Street. 知世はバードストリートでさくらを探している。
Madison	Uh, Kero, where do you think she could have run off to? ねえ、ケロちゃん。さくらちゃんはどこまで走っていったのでしょう?
When Madison stops in the middle of the street to look around, a girl bumps into Madison in the back. あたりを見回そうと、知世が通りの中央に立ち止まると、少女が知世の背中にぶつかる。
Madison	I'm sorry. Hey, are you OK? Huh! すみません。大丈夫ですか? あら!
Meilin	Yeah, I'm fine. Wait a... 大丈夫だけど。ちょっと...
Madison	Hey, Meilin. あら、苺鈴ちゃん。
Meilin	Madison Taylor. What in the world are you doing here? 大道寺さん。こんなところで、いったい何してるの?
Sakura	Sakura won a trip in a raffle. さくらちゃんが、くじ引きで旅行を当てたんです。
Meilin	Unh. ふうん。
Kero	[Pokes out Madison's bag] Yo, little girl. [知世のバッグから顔を出す] よぉ、小娘。
Meilin	I see you brought a stuffed toy. ぬいぐるみまでもってきたのね。
Kero	Hey! なんやて!
Meilin	They let you through customs? 税関通れたの?
Kero	All right, that's it! なんやて、上等や!
Meling pushes Kero back into the bag. 苺鈴はケロをバッグに押し込む。
Kero	Ohh, girl, come on, get me out of here. こら、小娘、ここから出さんかい。
Meilin	Madison, have you seen Li around? He said there was a strange aura, and then he took off somewhere. 大道寺さん、この辺で小狼を見なかった? 小狼ったら変な気配がするって、どこかに行っちゃったの。
Madison	Oh, I've been look all over for Sakura, too. Huh? あら、私もさくらちゃんを捜し回ってるんです。あら?
Madison finds Sakura and Li are coming back to the street together. 知世はさくらと小狼が一緒に通りに戻ってくるのを見つける。
Madison	Sakura! さくらちゃん!
Meilin	Li! 小狼!
Sakura	Hey, Madison. あ、知世ちゃん。
Madison	Are you OK? Where did you go? I was so worried about you. 大丈夫ですか? どこに行ってらしたんですか? 心配してましたのよ。
Sakura	Oh, I'm fine. あ、大丈夫だよ。
Madison	Sakura, you're soaking wet. さくらちゃん、ずぶ濡れじゃありませんか。
Meilin	Li! You had me so scared! [Hugs] 小狼! もう、怖かったんだから! [抱きつく]
Tori and Julian rush to Sakura. 桃矢と雪兎が走ってくる。
Tori	Sakura! I told you to stay close! さくら! 一緒にいろと言っただろ!
Sakura	I'm sorry. I saw... I didn't mean to worry you. Really. ごめんなさい。その... 心配かけるつもりじゃなかったの。ホントに。
Tori	Kids. ガキが。
Li is trying to get out of Meilin's arm. 小狼は苺鈴の腕から逃れようとする。
Li	Unh, unh. うぐ、んっ。
Meilin	Why in the world did you take off of me like that? どうして、そうやって私から離れようとするの?
Julian	Hey, what's up guys? やあ、偶然だね。
Li	Hello, how are you doing, Julian? こんにちは、本当にそうですね。
Meilin	Well, hello, there. あの、こんにちは。
Li	Unh. んんっ。
Li slips out Meilin's arm. 小狼は苺鈴の腕から逃れる。
Meilin	Unh, uh. ん、もうっ。
Madison	We need to get you in this case dry clothes. これは、さくらちゃんの服を乾かさないといけませんわね。
Sakura	Mm-hmm. Ah-choo! う、うん。クシュン!
Sakura's party climb up the steep slobe by cable car, and are invited into Li's mansion on the hill. They changed clothes into Chinese outfits that Li's family offers. Madison is videotaping Sakura. さくらの一行はケーブルカーで急勾配を上り、丘の上にある小狼の豪邸に招待される。一行は、小狼の家族が出してくれた中国服に着替える。知世はさくらをビデオ撮影している。
Madison	I'm kind of glad you got soak out there. These outfits are so cute. ずぶ濡れになったのは案外ラッキーでしたわ。そのお洋服、とってもかわいいんですもの。
Sakura	Huh? You should let me tape you. You look great! あ? 知世ちゃんの撮影もさせて。知世ちゃんもステキだよ!
Madison	Blue is my favorite color. 青は好きな色ですわ。
Four of Li's sisters run into the room cheerfully, and jump at Sakura and Madison. 小狼の4人の姉がはしゃぎながらやって来て、さくらと知世に飛びつく。
Feimei	How sweet! かわいいわね!
Huanlian	I mean adorable. 可憐よね。
Fudie	So cure! お人形さんみたい!
Sufa	So, stay long. ゆっくりしていってね。
The four sisters make a pet of Sakura and Madison on the hair and cheeks. 四人の姉はさくらと知世の髪や頬をなで回す。
知世	この方たちは誰でしょう?
Madison	Well, who are they? この方たちは誰でしょう?
Sakura	No clue. さあ...
Meanwhile, Tori and Julian are guided by Wei into the room. ちょうどその時、桃矢と雪兎が偉 (ウェイ) に案内されて部屋に入ってくる。
Tori	Who knew that Li kid was so rich. あのガキがこんな金持ちだったとはな。
Julian	This house is incredible. この家、ホントすごいね。
Sufa	Now, speaking of cute. かわいいと言えば。
Huanlian	Hell-o! いらっしゃい!
Julian	I hope we get to eat, don't you? なにか食べ物出るかなぁ?
The sisters change their target to Tori and Julian. 四人の姉はターゲットを桃矢と雪兎に変える。
Julian	Who are they? 誰?
Sakura	So, who are all of those girls, Li? 李くん、あの人たちは誰?
Meilin	They're Li's sisters. 小狼のお姉さんよ。
Sakura	All of them? みんな?
Li	Yeah. [Wearily] ああ。 [疲れている]
Sakura	Wow. うわ。
Madison	They're really energetic. みなさん、とてもお元気ですのね。
Kero	Hey, don't you mean really weird? おい、脳天気の間違いやろ?
Sakura	Kero! Oh, I'm sorry, Li. ケロちゃん! あの、李くん、ごめんなさい。
Then Li's mother Yelan comes in, when Li jumps on his feet and stands still. そこに、小狼の母親夜蘭 (イェラン) が入ってくる。小狼は立ち上がり、直立不動になる。
Sakura	She's so beautiful. きれいな人。
Sisters	Hello, Mother. あら、お母様。
Tori and Julian bow to Yelan. 桃矢と雪兎は夜蘭におじぎをする。
Yelan	Pleased to meet you. ようこそいらっしゃいました。
Tori	How do you do. おじゃましてます。
Sakura	That's Li's mother? あの人が李くんのお母さん?
Madison	But she looks so young. とても若く見えますわ。
Sakura	Mm-hmm. うん。
Kero	Boy, she looks pretty spooky to me. ふん、妖怪みたいに見えるけどなぁ。
Sakura	Kero. ケロちゃん。
Kero	Uhh. [Hides in Sakura's bag] Uh, I'm OK. あわわ。 [さくらのカバンに隠れる] ごめんなさい。
Li is standing still. 小狼は直立不動。
Madison	He's standing so still. まっすぐ立ったままですわ。
Sakura	Yeah. うん。
Yelan mother bows. 夜蘭がおじぎする。
Sakura	Hi, It's nice to meet you. I'm Sakura Avalon. Thank you for the beautiful clothes, and I'm really... あ、はじめまして。木之本桜です。こんなきれいなお洋服を貸していただきまして、その...
Yelan	I can sense a grave power. You possess the Clow Cards. [Takes a glance at the bag Kero's hinding in] When one has great powers, it will have times to attract grave dangers. But you must know that already. I insist you must stay here tonight. 強い力を感じます。あなたはクロウカードをもっていますね。 [ケロが隠れているカバンをちらりと見る] 強い力をもつということは、時に大きな危険をおびき寄せます。そのことを知っておいた方がよいでしょう。今夜はここに泊まって行きなさい。
Li	What?! な?!
Sisters	Oh, yeah! やったぁ!
Yelan	Li. I want you to show me your report card. 小狼。通知票を見せなさい。
Li	Ughhh. はぁぁ。
At that night, Sakura and Madison are get in bed. その夜、さくらと知世はベッドに入る。
Kero	Daah! What a day. あーっ! えらい日やったな。
Madison	I can't believe how pretty Li's mom is. 李くんのお母さんってすごくきれいな方でしたね。
Sakura	Yeah, she's beautiful. But there's something mysterious about her. うん、美人だね。でも、なにか不思議な気配がする。
Madison	I thought so, too. そう思いますわ。
Kero	She holds a great deal of power, more than Li. I'm not surprised that Li's mother can sense me and the Clow Cards. Remember, every one in their family is the direct descendant of Clow Reed. あの母はん、どえらい力の持ち主や。小僧以上の。小僧の母はんがワイヤクロウカードのことに気づいても不思議やないで。ええか、この家族の誰もがクロウ・リードの直系の子孫なんや。
Madison	Was Clow Reed the most powerful sorcerer in all of Hong Kong? クロウ・リードさんって、香港中で一番の魔導師だったんですか?
Kero	Yeah, probably in all of Asia. But weird Reed certainly wasn't the most popular man around. When you had that much influence, you're bound to make enemies along the way. ああ、おそらくアジア一番や。けど、偏屈なクロウは人に好かれるタイプやなかったから、クロウの影響を受けとるとなれば、行く先々で敵ばかりや。
They turns off the light. さくらたちは明かりを消す。
Madison	Did what his mom say about the power attracting dangers freak you out? I'm sure everything is just gonna be just fine. 強い力が危険をおびき出すって、李くんのお母さんがいった話で怖くなっちゃいました?
Sakura	Yeah. うん。
Madison	Tomorrow, we'll go downtown to go shopping. 明日は、街に出てお買い物ですわ。
Kero	And eat more Chinese food. それで、中華料理をもっと食べるで。
Sakura&Madison	Heh heh heh heh. あははは。
Sakura	Good night, Madison. 知世ちゃん、おやすみなさい。
Madison	Night, Sakura. おやすみなさい、さくらちゃん。
Sakura can't fall asleep at once, as she recalls over and over what Yelan said. 夜蘭が言ったことを何度も思い出して、さくらはすぐに寝つけない。
Yelan	When one has great powers, and it will have times to attract grave dangers. 強い力をもつということは、時に大きな危険をおびき寄せます。
Sakura falls into sleep, and inside her bag begins glowing. さくらが寝入ると、カバンの中が光り始める。
Sakura finds herself standing on the surface of water in the deserted basement. さくらは気づくと、荒廃した地下室で水面の上に立っている。
Sakura	This dream again. またこの夢だ。
Sakura can see the sorceress above her. さくらは、頭上に魔導師がいるのを見る。
Sakura	Who are you? Answer me! あなた誰? 誰なの?!
When Sakura grabs one of the ribbons, the sorceress begins to speak. さくらが帯びをつかむと、魔導師は話し始める。
Sorceress	At last, you have finally come back for me. やっと、戻ってきてくれた。
The ribbons catches Sakura on the wrist tightly. 帯はさくらの手首にしっかりと巻き付く。
Sakura	Huh? え?
Sorceress	I've been waiting all this time. I've been waiting all this time. Waiting for you. For you to return! ずっとここで待っていた。すっとここで待っていた。おまえのことを。おまえが戻ってくるのを!
The ribbon hoists up Sakura. さくらは、その帯で吊し上げられる。
Sakura	Unnh, oh. んんっ、うわ。
Sorceress	You've finally come to set me free. やっと、わたしを自由にしてくれる。
Sakura	Uhh. Unh, unh! わぁ、んっ、んあっ!
The sorceress approaches Sakura as if she's attracted by some force. 何かの力で引きつけられるように、魔導師はさくらに接近してくる。
Sakura	Oh... Eeeeek! きゃ... きゃあ～あっ!
Kero	Sakura, what's wrong?! Sakura! さくら、どないしたんや?! さくら!
Sakura	Huph! [Wakes up] はっ! [目覚める]
Madison	Are you OK? 大丈夫ですか?
Sakura	That dream. あの夢だ。
Sakura rolls her sleeve, and sees the mark of the ribbons around her wrist. さくらが袖をまくると、手首に帯の跡がくっきりと残っている。
Sakura	Huh? あっ?
Kero	That's not ordinary dream. これはただの夢やないな。
At this time, there's a knock on the door. その時、ドアにノックがある。
Madison	Huh! は!
Kero	Aah! [Hide in bedding] うわっ! [布団の中に隠れる]
Sakura	Come in. どうそ。
Yelan comes in. 夜蘭が入ってくる。
Under the moon light, Sakura and Yelan are standing in the garden. 月の明かりの下で、さくらと夜蘭が庭に立っている。
Yelan	I call on the power of the celestial spirits' divine. Water, wood, metal, wind, and earth. Power of thunder and lighning abound. I command thee to gather and grant me knowledge. Release your lights! 玉帝有勅神硯四方 (ぎょくていゆうちょくしんけんしほう) 金木水火土雷風雷電神勅 (きんもくすいかどらいふうらいでんしんちょく) 軽磨霹靂電光転 (けいまへきれきでんこうてん) 急々如律令 ( きゅうきゅうにょりつりょう)!
A huge mandala appears under Sakura's feet, and a numner of glowing balls are slowing falling around her. 巨大な魔法陣がさくらの足もとに現れ、光の玉がさくらのまわりにゆっくりと落ちてくる。
Yelan	The spirits tell me you happened summoned here to Hong Kong. 気の力によると、あなたはこの香港に呼ばれて来たようですね。
Sakura	Summoned by whom? 呼ばれたって誰に?
Yelan	By the woman in your dreams. 夢の中の女性に。
Sakura	Huph! はっ!
Yelan	Be careful. There are many powerful spirits at work here. 気をつけなさい。強い魔力がたくさん、この辺りで活動しています。
Sakura	But what should I do? どうすればいいんですか?
Yelan	It is you and you alone that knows t he power that you must follow. With the magic of Clow Cards comes great responsibility, and even great risk. The evil that seats you now is very powerful. But so all the spirits that will guide you. This evil lures you only in your dreams. Your dreams are all where you'll find the answer. あなたが従うべき力を知っているのは、あなただけ。クロウカードの力はその大きなヒントになるしょうが、大きな危険にもつながっています。あなたをおびき寄せた力は、とても強力です。それから、あなたを導くだろう魔力、その邪悪な力は夢の中でのみ、あなたを引きつけます。夢こそが、その答えを見つけるすべての方法です。
The mandala disappers. 魔法陣は消える。
Yelan	Sakura, you will find your way. I kow you will. Don't worry. You will know what to do when the time comes. きっと道は見つかります。絶対に見つかりますよ。大丈夫。なにをすべきかは、時が来ればわかります。
Next morning, Sakura's party are leaving Li's house. 翌朝、さくらの一行は小狼の家を出る。
Sisters	It was so nice to meet you. Bye! Come back soon! とても楽しかったわ。じゃあね! また来てね!
Meilin	You really slept over last night? ホントに泊まったんだ?
Madison	Yeah. ええ。
Meilin	Humph. Well, I should've slept over, too. ふん、わたしも泊まればよかったぁ。
Madison	Heh heh. うふふ。
Sakura comes out of the house with Yelan. さくらは夜蘭と家の外にでる。
Sakura	Thank you so much for everything. いろいろとありがとうございました。
Yelan	Beware of water. 水には気をつけなさい。
Tori	Hey! Come on! Let's get going. おい! 早くしろ! 行くぞ。
Sisters	Ohh... え～っ...
Sakura	Coming! すぐいく～!
Yelan	Please take care, Sakura. 気をつけなさい。
Sakura	OK... はい...
