| Sakura is standing on water in the deserted basement. | |
| Sakura | This dream again. |
| Sakura looks up to the skylight, when two birds alight on the iron bar. She runs about ten feet ahead to take a better look at the birds. She senses somthing behind, and looks back to find a sorceress float just below the skylight. | |
| Sakura | Who are you? |
| The sorceress is in an eastern sorcery costume which has long ribbons fluttering. The ribbons suddenly leap to Sakura. She extents her arm to grab one of the ribbons. | |
| Sakura wakes up. | |
| Sakura |
Ohh... [Sits up] That... the dream again. It... it was just so strange. |
Sakura's party are out for lunch. Juliand orders the food. | |
| Julian | And, we'd like four of these, all four of that four, bunch of these and four of this one, too. |
| Waiter | Is that all, sir? |
| Julian | We'll let you know. |
| Number of baskets of dim sums are piled on their table. | |
| Julian | OK, dig in! |
| Sakura&Madison |
OK. [Sweatdrop] |
| Sakura | Madison, would you like to share one with me? |
| Madison | Sure. |
| When Sakura lifts up the basket she wants, Kero is seen to eat a dim sum in the lower basket. | |
| Kero | Yam yam, umm? |
| Sakura | Kero! |
| Madison | Huph! |
| Tori | Kero? |
| Sakura covers Kero with her basket. | |
| Sakura | I think I'll try something else. Yeah. |
| Tori | OK, what was wrong with that one? |
| Sakura | No, uh, uh, nothing. I just changed my mind. |
| Tori | Well, let me see it then. |
| Sakura | Huh! But there's so many to try. You don't want this one. |
| Tori | Pass it over. [Points to the one above Kero] |
| Sakura | But... |
| Tori | Pass it over now! |
| Sakura takes a risk and lifts the basket, but Kero isn't seen in the lower basket. | |
| Tori | Well, speed it up, squirt! |
| Sakura | Right. |
| Madison | Huph! |
| Kero is hanging off the basket Sakura is passing to Tori. | |
| Sakura | Aah! Took for I really did? Doesn't it look delicious, Madison? |
| Madison | Mmm, it sure does! |
| Tori | Mmm... Fine, whatever. |
| Sakura picks up Kero as he tries to take another dim sum. | |
| Kero | Yeow, OK, OK! |
| Tori | After lunch, what do you say check out the Bird Street? |
| Sakura | Did you say Bird Street? |
| Julian | Yeah, it's the street packed with birds. |
| Sakura | Uhh! |
Sakura's party are walking through the Bird Street. | |
| Sakura | I've never seen so many birds in one place! |
| Julian | They're the most popular pet in Hong Kong. Look at all the different kinds. I'll bet some of them can learn to talk, too. |
| Sakura | That's so cool! |
| Madison is videotaping Sakura. | |
| Madison | Wow. |
| Kero | Uh, Bird Street. |
| Madison | You've been here? |
| Kero | Mm-hmm. And it hasn't changed a bit. |
| Madison&Kero | Huh? |
| Sakura is talking to three finches at a store. | |
| Sakura | Hello. Heh heh heh. |
| Madison videotapes Sakura smiling at the birds. | |
| Sakura senses a chilly aura coming from the two birds on the wire above the street. She jumps back on her feet and looks around. | |
| Madison | What's wrong? |
| Sakura | It feels... like we've been watched. |
| Kero | There's something strange around here. |
| Sakura | Kero, there can't be Clow Cards around here, can there? |
| Kero | No, this is different. This feels more evil. |
| Julian spots the two strange birds on the wire. | |
| Julian | Hey, look at those ones. |
| Tori | Huh? They must have escaped. |
| Sakura looks up and finds the birds. | |
| Sakura | Those birds! |
| The birds fly away, so Sakura runs after them. | |
| Madison | Sakura! |
| Kero | We've got to follow her. |
| Madison | OK... |
| Tori | Where's she running off to? |
| Kero | Hurry up. |
| Madison | We'll be right back. |
| Madison begins to follow Sakura. | |
| Tori&Julian | Huh? |
| Sakura is chasing the birds, but when she loses the sight of them, she turns into a side street to use a magic secretly. | |
| Sakura |
Release! Jump! |
| Sakura jumps a hundred feet above the street, and succeeds in finding the birds in the spot surronded by tall builings. | |
| Sakura | There! |
| Sakura bounces up and down to the spot, where she can see an old well in the center the spot surrounded by buildings. | |
| Sakura | I'm sensing something. |
| Sakura walks up to the well, and look inside. | |
| A pair of ribbons grows out of the well behind Sakura. Once Sakura sees the ribbons looking back, she gets hypnotized. She steps up on the edge of the well, and gazes inside the well. | |
| Li | Wake up! |
| Sakura gets back to her consciousness, when the birds fly away. | |
| Sakura |
Huh? It's you. What are you doing here? |
| As she's getting down from the well, she gets unballanced. | |
| Sakura |
Ohh, whoa, whoa... [Splashes into water] Aww! |
Madison is looking for Sakura on the Bird Street. | |
| Madison | Uh, Kero, where do you think she could have run off to? |
| When Madison stops in the middle of the street to look around, a girl bumps into Madison in the back. | |
| Madison |
I'm sorry. Hey, are you OK? Huh! |
| Meilin | Yeah, I'm fine. Wait a... |
| Madison | Hey, Meilin. |
| Meilin | Madison Taylor. What in the world are you doing here? |
| Sakura | Sakura won a trip in a raffle. |
| Meilin | Unh. |
| Kero | [Pokes out Madison's bag] Yo, little girl. |
| Meilin | I see you brought a stuffed toy. |
| Kero | Hey! |
| Meilin | They let you through customs? |
| Kero | All right, that's it! |
| Meling pushes Kero back into the bag. | |

| Meilin | Madison, have you seen Li around? He said there was a strange aura, and then he took off somewhere. |

Oh, I've been look all over for Sakura, too. Huh? |
| Madison finds Sakura and Li are coming back to the street together. | |

| Tori and Julian rush to Sakura. | |

| Li slips out Meilin's arm. | |

| Madison | We need to get you in this case dry clothes. |

Sakura's party climb up the steep slobe by cable car, and are invited into Li's mansion on the hill. They changed clothes into Chinese outfits that Li's family offers. Madison is videotaping Sakura. | |
| Madison | I'm kind of glad you got soak out there. These outfits are so cute. |
| Sakura | Huh? You should let me tape you. You look great! |
| Madison | Blue is my favorite color. |
| Four of Li's sisters run into the room cheerfully, and jump at Sakura and Madison. | |
| Feimei | How sweet! |
| Huanlian | I mean adorable. |
| Fudie | So cure! |
| Sufa | So, stay long. |
| The four sisters make a pet of Sakura and Madison on the hair and cheeks. | |

| Meanwhile, Tori and Julian are guided by Wei into the room. | |

| Julian | This house is incredible. |

| The sisters change their target to Tori and Julian. | |

| Meilin | They're Li's sisters. |
| Sakura | All of them? |
| Li | Yeah. [Wearily] |
| Sakura | Wow. |
| Madison | They're really energetic. |
| Kero | Hey, don't you mean really weird? |
| Sakura | Kero! Oh, I'm sorry, Li. |
| Then Li's mother Yelan comes in, when Li jumps on his feet and stands still. | |
| Sakura | She's so beautiful. |
| Sisters | Hello, Mother. |
| Tori and Julian bow to Yelan. | |

| Tori | How do you do. |
| Sakura | That's Li's mother? |
| Madison | But she looks so young. |

[Takes a glance at the bag Kero's hinding in] When one has great powers, it will have times to attract grave dangers. But you must know that already. I insist you must stay here tonight. |

| Sisters | Oh, yeah! |
| Yelan | Li. I want you to show me your report card. |
| Li | Ughhh. |
At that night, Sakura and Madison are get in bed. | |
| Kero | Daah! What a day. |
| Madison | I can't believe how pretty Li's mom is. |
| Sakura | Yeah, she's beautiful. But there's something mysterious about her. |
| Madison | I thought so, too. |
| Kero | She holds a great deal of power, more than Li. I'm not surprised that Li's mother can sense me and the Clow Cards. Remember, every one in their family is the direct descendant of Clow Reed. |
| Madison | Was Clow Reed the most powerful sorcerer in all of Hong Kong? |
| Kero | Yeah, probably in all of Asia. But weird Reed certainly wasn't the most popular man around. When you had that much influence, you're bound to make enemies along the way. |
| They turns off the light. | |
| Madison | Did what his mom say about the power attracting dangers freak you out? I'm sure everything is just gonna be just fine. |
| Sakura | Yeah. |
| Madison | Tomorrow, we'll go downtown to go shopping. |
| Kero | And eat more Chinese food. |
| Sakura&Madison | Heh heh heh heh. |
| Sakura | Good night, Madison. |
| Madison | Night, Sakura. |
Sakura can't fall asleep at once, as she recalls over and over what Yelan said. | |
| Yelan | When one has great powers, and it will have times to attract grave dangers. |
| Sakura falls into sleep, and inside her bag begins glowing. | |
| Sakura finds herself standing on the surface of water in the deserted basement. | |
| Sakura | This dream again. |
| Sakura can see the sorceress above her. | |
| Sakura | Who are you? Answer me! |
| When Sakura grabs one of the ribbons, the sorceress begins to speak. | |
| Sorceress | At last, you have finally come back for me. |
| The ribbons catches Sakura on the wrist tightly. | |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| Sorceress | I've been waiting all this time. I've been waiting all this time. Waiting for you. For you to return! |
| The ribbon hoists up Sakura. | |
| Sakura | Unnh, oh. |
| Sorceress | You've finally come to set me free. |
| Sakura | Uhh. Unh, unh! |
| The sorceress approaches Sakura as if she's attracted by some force. | |
| Sakura | Oh... Eeeeek! |
| Kero | Sakura, what's wrong?! Sakura! |
| Sakura | Huph! [Wakes up] |
| Madison | Are you OK? |
| Sakura | That dream. |
| Sakura rolls her sleeve, and sees the mark of the ribbons around her wrist. | |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| Kero | That's not ordinary dream. |
| At this time, there's a knock on the door. | |
| Madison | Huh! |
| Kero | Aah! [Hide in bedding] |
| Sakura | Come in. |
| Yelan comes in. | |
Under the moon light, Sakura and Yelan are standing in the garden. | |
| Yelan | I call on the power of the celestial spirits' divine. Water, wood, metal, wind, and earth. Power of thunder and lighning abound. I command thee to gather and grant me knowledge. Release your lights! |
| A huge mandala appears under Sakura's feet, and a numner of glowing balls are slowing falling around her. | |
| Yelan | The spirits tell me you happened summoned here to Hong Kong. |
| Sakura | Summoned by whom? |
| Yelan | By the woman in your dreams. |
| Sakura | Huph! |
| Yelan | Be careful. There are many powerful spirits at work here. |
| Sakura | But what should I do? |
| Yelan | It is you and you alone that knows the power that you must follow. With the magic of Clow Cards comes great responsibility, and even great risk. The evil that seats you now is very powerful. But so all the spirits that will guide you. This evil lures you only in your dreams. Your dreams are all where you'll find the answer. |
| The mandala disappers. | |
| Yelan | Sakura, you will find your way. I kow you will. Don't worry. You will know what to do when the time comes. |
Next morning, Sakura's party are leaving Li's house. | |
| Sisters | It was so nice to meet you. Bye! Come back soon! |
| Meilin | You really slept over last night? |
| Madison | Yeah. |
| Meilin | Humph. Well, I should've slept over, too. |
| Madison | Heh heh. |
| Sakura comes out of the house with Yelan. | |
| Sakura | Thank you so much for everything. |
| Yelan | Beware of water. |
| Tori | Hey! Come on! Let's get going. |
| Sisters | Ohh... |
| Sakura | Coming! |
| Yelan | Please take care, Sakura. |
| Sakura | OK... |
