Sakura is on the Fly in the woods, when the Arrow Card is aiming her with her arrow.
Kero | Uhh, Sakura, watch out. |
Number of arrows falls down toward Sakura, so she weaves through between them.
Madison | Huhh! |
The arrow shot by the Arrow Card split into dozen of arrows attacking Sakura.
Sakura | Aaah! |
The Arrow Card shoots another arrow.
Kero | Aah! |
Li | Element, Lightning, desect! |
Li’s magic stops the arrows.
Sakura | Whoa! Thanks a lot, Li. |
Li | Don’t take your eyes off it! |
Arrows descend slowly in front of Li and Sakura, and pulls back her arrow.
Kero | Sakura, now! |
Sakura |
Right. Windy Card, come to my aid and stop the Arrow. Windy! |
Windy blows against the Arrow not to shoot another.
Sakura | Jump! |
Sakura jumps over the Arrow and land behind her.
Sakura | Return to your power confined! Arrow Card! |
Arrow Card is sealed and turns into a card at the tip of the sealing wand, which falls into Sakura’s hand.
Meilin | Li does deserve the Card much more than she does! |
Madison | Wow, looks like that you’ve got a fan club. |
Li | Ogh... |
Kero | Wow, great job, Sakura. The Arrow Card really had it in for ya. Ha, you’re gonna make a big Cardcaptor or what? |
Sakura | Hmm. |
It is raining around midnight, when Sakura is sound asleep in her bed. Clow Book on her desk suddenly glows.
Sakura is standing on the surface of water in her pajamas. She is kind of in a deserted basement, above her is a skylight through which day light cames in.
Sakura | Wh-where am I? Huh? |
Sakura can see a pair of ribbons underneath the water. The riboons tangle around Sakura, and pull her under the water.
Sakura | I wonder why. But how can I breathe? |
The ribbons set Sakura free.
Voice | Water is ever flowing... ever flowing. |
Sakura is slowly sinking deep in the water.
Sakura | Mmm... |
Sakura wakes up when the sun is rising.
Sakura | What a weird dream. |
Kero is still asleep. | |
Sakura | Hmm. |
This is the last day of the semester, Mr. Terada is handing their students their report cards.
Terada | Jeffrey. |
Jeffrey | Here. |
Terada | Kimberly. |
Kimberly | Here. |
Terada |
You’ve done much better this term, Kim. Uh, Harrison. |
Harrison | Here. |
Terada |
Let’s try a little harder next semester, OK? Ally. |
Ally | Here. |
Sakura is timidly looks into her report card.
Sakura | Whoo. |
Madison | So, how did it do? |
Sakura | I got all C! I thought I was gonna funk the music for sure. |
Madison | They weren’t that bad. |
Terada | Madison. |
Madison | Coming. |
Terada | Well done, Madison. |
Madison | Thanks. |
Li looks very nervous. | |
Sakura | So you’re nervous, too, huh? |
Li | Me, as if. |
Meilin | Spring break, he has to show his mom. |
Li | Mmm! |
Meilin | You’ll be nervous, too, if you met her. |
Li | Grandma. |
Sakura | Hey, Madison. How did it go? |
Madison | The same as last semester. |
Sakura | That must mean straight A’s again, right? |
Madison | Heh heh heh. |
Terada | Li Showron and Meilin Rae. |
Meilin | Here! |
Li | Ughh. |
Meilin and Li walk up to Mr. Terada, when Li looks pale.
Madison | Oh, boy. Li looks like he’s going to be sick. |
Sakura | So, are you gonna go anywhere for spring break? |
Meilin | Uh, what is this?! |
Sakura | Huh? |
Meilin | Why didn’t I get straight A’s? |
Terada | You just need to spend a little more time studying for your test, Meilin. I’m sure you’d better do next term. |
Meilin | Mmm. |
Li encourages himself to open the report card. He checks his records.
Li |
Humm. One B minus. I can show her this. Huh? [Notice Sakura is watching] Mmm! |
Sakura | Heh heh heh. [Nervously] |
Sakura and Madison are walking in front of Twin Bells on their way home.
Sakura | No homework for a whole week! |
Madison | Yeah, spring break is the best! |
Sakura | You wanna look inside? |
Madison | Sure. |
Sakura is trying to choose the notebook to buy.
Sakura | Hmm, can’t decide which one. |
Madison | Heh heh heh. |
Sakura chooses the notebook and pay for it.
Maggie | I see you finally made up your mind. This one was my favorite, too. |
Sakura | Thanks. |
Maggie | Oh, I almost forgot. |
Maggie takes out a box. | |
Maggie |
You get to draw one. The Reedington shopping district has a big contest right now. Everyone who buys something gets to draw one. |
Madison | Cool! Good luck, Sakura. |
Sakura puts her arm in, and funble around inside the box.
Maggie | And the grand prize is the trip aboard to Hong Kong. So far, everyone’s gotten the consolation prize. |
By some unseen force, one among the balls inside jumps into Sakura’s palm.
Sakura | Huh! |
Maggie | So, what color is it? |
Sakura | Hey, look! It’s a glod one. Probably just the consolation prize. |
Maggie | Huhh. |
Maggie looks up the prize table.
Maggie | Gold is the... huph... grand... |
Madison | Grand. |
Sakura | Grand? |
Back in Sakura’s room. | |
Sakura | Look! |
Kero | The grand prize! That’s amazing, Sakura. Trip overseas! And just in time for spring break. |
Sakura | Yeah, I know. I’ve never even been on the plane before! |
Kero | Ah, I haven’t seen Hong Kong in ages. |
Sakura | Kero, you’ve been to Hong Kong? |
Kero | Uh, yeah, I used to live there, when Clow Reed was still around. |
Sakura | So, that must mean the Clow Cards have been to Hong Kong, too. |
Kero | Oh, they haven’t just been there. That’s where they were created, Sakura. |
Sakura | I wonder what Hong Kong is like. |
Kero | Just stick with me. I’ll take you to all the best watch in town. |
Sakura | Hmmm. |
Kero |
Whoa! Uh, wait a sec. |
Sakura | Hey, what is it? |
Kero | Didn’t you tell me your father is going away on a business trip this week? |
Sakura | Oh, I forgot. |
Sakura&Kero | Huhhh... |
Aiden | You should go. |
Sakura | Are you sure? |
Aiden | Absolutely, I just wish I could go with you. I’ve never been to Hong Kong before. I think it’ll be OK if Tori takes you. |
Sakura | Huh? But Tori... what about... what about your part time job? |
Tori | Five missed by sis. But I’ll do it. |
Sakura | Huh? You are the best! |
Aiden | Madison makes three. Tori, why don’t you take Julian along, too? |
Tori | Sure, I think I can make it. As far as I know, I don’t think he has any plan. |
Sakura | Yeah... |
Sakura is very excited at the airport, since this is the first time she see an airplanes just before her eyes.
Sakura | I wonder if that one over there’s a plane! Huh? |
Madison | OK, Sakura, act natural. [Videotaping Sakura] |
Sakura | Y-you brought a videocamera? |
Madison | Of course, I’m going to videotape everything, and they’ll enter the video scrap of my mom’s new software. I think I’ll call it “Madison and Sakura’s First World Tour.” Maybe we can use it for an independent study project. |
Sakura | Huhh... |
Tori | Sakura! |
Sakura | Huh? |
Tori | Come on! Time to board. |
Sakura&Madison | OK! |
On the moving walkway, Tori whispers into Sakra’s ear.
Tori | Sakura, don’t forget you can’t let your shoes on on the plane. |
Sakura | Really? You can’t? |
Tori | Mmm. [Nods] |
Sakura takes off her shoes when she gets on the plane.
Flight Attendant | Miss, you may leave your shoes on if you wish. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Sakura gets embarrassed.
Sakura | Tori! |
Tori | Hee hee. |
Sakura | Mmph! That was so not funny! |
Kero | [Pokes head] Dah! Fresh air! |
Sakura | Kero! Would you come back in the... |
Passengers turn to look at Sakura, so she pushes Kero in the bag and runs to her seat.
Sakura | Kero, just stay hidden in a little longer. |
Kero | But it’s hard. |
Julian | Hey, Sakura. |
Sakura | Ahh. [Push Kero inside] Julian! |
Julian | Are you ready for a big trip? This will be my first time in Hong Kong, too. Oh, well, by the way, thanks for inviting me. |
Sakura | Uhh, sure! |
Sakura’s party arrive at Hong Kong. Sakura and Madison gets to their hotel room.
Bellboy | You ladies, have a nice day. |
Sakura | Wow. This room’s huge! [Runs and throws her bag] |
Kero |
Whoa! Uhh, whoa. Ooh-uhh, Sakura... |
Sakura | Huh? K-Kero! I’m sorry. |
Kero | How could you forget that I was stuck in there? |
Sakura | Heh heh heh heh. |
Kero |
This is not funny! But since you did bring me back to Hong Kong, I’ll forgive you. Ah-ha. [Blinks] Where now, anyway? |
Sakura | Uh, ohh... [Collapses] |
Madison | Has it changed much, Kero? |
Kero | Has it changed? |
Sakura | What an amazing view! |
Kero | Has it ever changed! Ohh, man! |
They can see the sea and buldings in view through their hotel room window.
Sakura’s party are boarded on the ferry bound for Hong Kong island.
Sakura | Hahhh, Oh. Hong Kong island is so close to our hotel! |
Tori |
Yeah, it says right here it only takes five minutes by ferry. Hey, if you keep leaning over like that, the sharks will get you. |
Sakura | Huhh? There’re sharks here? |
Tori | Yep, the guide book said so. |
Sakura | Ohh... |
Sakura sees a seagull fly below her.
Sakura | Huhh! |
Tori | A shark? |
The seagull soar up next to Sakura.
Sakura | Whoa. It’s so beautiful! How much further is it? |
Julian | Don’t worry, we’ll be docking soon. |
Sakura | I’ve just never been to such a big city before. |
Julian | Ha ha, neither have I. |
Meanwhile, Madison is videotaping Sakura.
Madison | Ha, this is gonna be the best vacation! |
Kero | [Poking out Madison’s hair] Fill me later, OK? |
Madison | OK. |
Sakura’s party is hanging around in Hong Kong city. While Tori and Julian decide where to walk around, Sakura and Madison are having crepe.
Kero | Wow, things have really changed! |
Sakura | It’s been a long time since you’ve been here, Kero? I’ll bet hundreds of years. |
Kero | But it... it still feels the same. I can still sence powerful forces. The traces of ancient magic. They’re strong as ever. Not to mention that. |
While Sakura is distracted, Kero eats Sakura’s crepe.
Kero | And uh, food is still great! Ah! Munch, munch. |
Sakura | Oh, Kero! [in teras] |
Kero | Humm... |
Madison | What is it? |
Kero | I was just thinking how Sakura’s never been very lucky. |
Sakura | What did you say?! |
Kero | U-uh, hear me out. I remember Clow Reed used to say that nothing is accidental. Maybe Sakura was supposed to win the grand prize for a reason. We’ll never know stranger things’ll happen, especially in Hong Kong. |
Sakura | Oh, come on, Kero. |
Meanwhile, two birds that feel kind of eerie alight on the wire above Sakura. |
