“Come with me.”
Sakura found herself in a wonder land. She was no longer in the ruins, but in a place like a future city that has a plenty of tall buildings where robots were walking in streets. The boy was beside her. “Where are we?” she asked in a puzzled look. “A planet about 100 light-years away from the earth. We call it the Planet of Expectation,” the boy replied. “Anyway, come,” he motioned in stead of continuing the explanation. Sakura followed him.
They arrived at someplace like a laboratory. She could see bottles of chemicals and a bunch of machineries. There was a middle-aged man in the back of the laboratory. “Dad, I found her.” She reckoned the gentleman in a white coat was his father from the way he called. “Welcome to this planet, Sakura,” the gentleman said. She was astounded, “How do you know my name?”
“Sorry for my rudeness. I am Dr. Hakushuu, a researching staff of this laboratory,” the father started, “Actually, I am your great-grandson’s great-grandson.” Sakura blinked her eyes in surprise, asking, “What year is it?” “In Chrisian Era, 2153 A.D., it’s 19 years since the first immigration took place on this planet.” Sakura was confused, when he continued, “A war broke out about 150 years ago. The weapons were much more powerful than those used in the battles which had taken place on the earth in history. Moreover, the war continued more than a century; destruction covered the entire earth to change it into chaos.”
The middle-aged gentleman paused for a minute until the following words, “There was nothing we could do but to immigrate to another planet. By such demand, Japan promoted the immigration to this Planet of Expection.”
“I wonder what did they start the war for?” Sakura mumbled in depression.
“The Clow Cards were the cause of the battles,” Hakushuu replied raising his tone, “You happened to be watched by extraterrestrials when you were sealing the Void Card in the amusement park. The creatures from outer space attacked the earth in order to get possession of the mighty Clow Cards. Human kind fought against the creatures with all their might, and succeeded in driving them away, but the fierce battles caused the severe destruction of the entire globe.”
“Horrible thing...” Sakura was depressed to hear the explanation.
“Don’t feel sorry for that. That was not your fault, but those creatures’.”
“I happened to find the chart of our lineage when I was unpacking old stuff, by which I learned that you were the mistress of the cards. That’s why I called you here,” Hakushuu explained.
“What for?”
“I ask you to use one of those cards...”
“Hoe?”
“... to discard all the cards,” he completed the sentence.
“... Hoeee!”
What does Dr Hakushuu intend, asking Sakura to discard all the Clow Cards.
Where are Syaoran, Tomoyo, and Kero? Are they all right? The mysteies will
