Sakura’s gang began to walk. They had to detour since they had gotten off the route. As a matter of fact, it was that they had fallen into a trap. A certain spirit had driven them to where they were, in front of Tsukimine Shrine, for the sake of a certain purpose...
Not knowing of the spirit, they were passing by the shrine, when they sensed a presence, being attacked by a tornado at the very same time. Four of them were swallowed by the tornado, before they could protect themselves from the forces.
Sakura woke up in darkness in a building. It was chilly since the wall, floor, and everything were made of stone. Some beams of light streamed in through the cracks between stones that collapsed occasionally.
“Where am I?”
She started to walk in search for the exit, even though she wasn’t sure if there was a way out. She could hear her footsteps echoing eerily, but she didn’t know anything to do but to keep walking. Suddenly, she found a statue. Stepping closer to check it out, she felt she tripped on something. At the same time, she felt as if she was caught by someone. But the sensation didn’t last any longer. Deciding not to mind it, she began walking again.
Next, she felt a presence—incredibly evil presence. “Anybody here?” she looked all around, but she could see anything or anybody. But it was true that she kept feeling the evil presence. Next minute, she lost conciousness.
Sakura found herself in Tsukimine Shrine, also finding Syaoran, Kero, and Tomoyo lying around her. However, it was obviously different than the shrine she knew. She got upset and shook them but they didn’t wake up. At this moment, a force field appeared in front of her to obstruct her view. When the force field was gone, the three were missing, and the shrine got back to its usual form.
“Hey, where are you? Syaoran, Tomoyo, and Kero!”
Sakura shouted, but no answer came to her.
She couldn’t move an inch for a while. Suddenly, the view around her turned red. She heard roaring sound all around her. She could see black airplanes flying fast, and scattering something—a number of bombers flying over above her. Each of them flew away as soon as it dropped an incendiary bomb. She had no idea what was going on. She wanted to run away from the spot, but she couldn’t because everything around her was blazing. No way out, Sakura crouched down on the ground, when the boy who had appeared showed up again.
“Come with me,” he whispered to Sakura.
Entire town of Tomoeda is engulfed in flames. What’s happening?
What’s with that boy? The next chapter may reveal the mysteries.
