“Hey, Sakura,” Syaoran talked to her, but no response returned.
“Ohh...” He sighed not knowing what to say; instead, wondering what to do if her brother comes home, and thinking about the dream she talked about. Thinking that way made him drowsy, but he knows better than that. However, a slight scent of flowers or something took him into sleep.
“I’m home.”
Touya came home. Now that he lived on his own in an apartment, but he came back home once a week. When he got upstairs to put his stuff in his room, he found Sakura’s door was kept open and there was no one inside. Thirsty, Touya went back downstairs, then he found the two teenagers sleeping in the couch. He gripped his fist for a moment, but soon released and put a blanket on them, kneeling on the floor.
Sakura was standing in the middle of vast flat plane of ruins. There was no tall buildings or hills, as the sun shone on her directly. It’s burning her skin. Finding a deserted house that barely held a roof, she ran crowed under for a shelter. She could see decayed furniture all around. Spotting a picture frame close to her feet, she picked it up; a beautiful woman was on it.“Hoe,” Sakura thought the woman was familiar. Seemingly left alone for ages, the picture had been faded, and its corners are gone.
“It’s Mom!” she exclaimed at the moment as she recognized the picture was of her mother Nadeshiko. “What have happened?” she wondered, looking all around, thinking to herself whether it was her own house. Then what’s the cause of the ruins? Is everybody all right? Where in the world am I? Her thoughts was racing in her mind. “Oh, nooooo!”
“Hey, wake up!”
“Are you all right, Sakura?”
Called by her name, Sakura got back to her conciousness, when she saw Syaoran and Kero. She told them about the dream she just had a moment before.
AN: Touya had left the house for his appointment.
“That must be a prophetic dream, kiddo.”
“You mean, she just saw the future of this town?”
“No way!” Sakura uttered in distress.
“Now we haven’t got enough clues to know what to do. You don’t know somehthing more useful, do you... to figure out what?” Kero asked her looking up around the ceiling.
“I know... I sensed a presence,” Sakura started, subsequently explaining the presense she had sensed in the dream—the presense of someone familiar.
“Presense of who?” Syaoran asked.
“I don’t know...” she replied.
The three decided to visit Yue. But they sensed the same presence that she told she had sensed in her dream, so they impulsively traced the presence. The presence faded before they could find the source. So they resumed to the way to Yue’s house.
On their way to Yue’s house, Sakura and the others meet a boy...
Will they manage to visit Yue without mishap?
