BME Fanfic Contest — Result

Here I'm announcing the result of the BME Fanfic Contest that was held during November, 2004. Each entry was scored by the page view number which it earned during the month. As for multi-chapter fics, the page views of its most achieving chapter was taken as its score.

Below are the ranking tables resulted from the contest, for English and Japanese versions, respectively. The winner of English versions is Sakura aka Michelle's The Best Christmas Gift Ever, and the winner of Japanese versions is narumiko's Mermaid Princesses! Congratulations! As you can see, S+S romance was widely supported as far as English versions. The trend in Japanese versions is slightly different. They tend to be attracted by brand-new fics.

I sent Best Fanfic Award to those of you who won the top three places for either English or Japanese versions. Thank you for joining and enjoying the contest. I hope you guys will come out with your farther creative works.
