Sakura's gang come to Reedington High Festival to enjoy the movie Tori's class has shot under the direction by Ruby Moon. During the movie, Sakura thinks over that Tori has known about everything about Yue's strength. She can't help feeling something in common between what they are and their assigned role in the movie play. After the movie is over, Julian and Tori who now are famous in school attracts attention from girls; however Tori looks pretty exhausted, Sakura notices, because he's tired from the power transfer to Yue.
Sakura, Madison, Li, and Eli are guided to the courtyard by Julian and Tori, where there's a big parlar. When bringing soft drink, Tori shows hostitily to Li as ever, and looks suspiciously at Eli. But the clever boy with glasses pretends to know nothing about it. Pretty sleepy from the exhaustion, Tori walks back home apart from the gang. Eli, too, walks away when he says that he has things home to take care of.
Since Sakura's gang has not looked around the festival,
Julian volunteers to show them around. They have a good time
with games and a haunted house—Sakura is pretty scared
of—until they come to the entrance of the Star Land.
That is something like a planetarium which is Julian's
class's another exibit. There, Ruby Moon welcomes the
four customers with overactive gesture and spirit.
As the first thing, Sakura and Julian are guided into the
Star Land. Sakura is fascinated by the star decorations
that form constellations. Looking at stars reminds her
of what Clow Reed said to Sakura that her star is still
tiny but it burns bright to light her own way. Noticing
that Sakura is kind of depressed, Julian asks her what is
wrong. She hesitatingly replies that she blamed herself
that Tori had to give up all his power to Yue. Julian mentions
that thanks to Tori, Yue is now strong enought to be able
to protect her as if ansewering what her brother wanted.
At this time, the strange power arises when the star decoration
busts into pieces with cracking sound.
Did Sakura confess her feeling to Julian? No, she told
that she worried if Tori would be feeling better soon.
No wonder Sakura doesn't have romantic feeling to Julian
unlike CCS. By the way, just before the stars exploded
Sakura asks Julian to transform into Yue because she starts
feeling something strange. In CCS, Yukito transforms into
his true form on his own, though.
Julian turns into Yue to protect and assist the master of
the Cards. Sakura transforms the Illusion Card and Maze Card
into Star Cards; then the Star Land has turns into an illusional
place of 3-D maze full of realistic stars. Pinpointing the
source of the power, she starts running as Yue flies following
her but she disappears from the sight.
Outside, Li who has sensed the power, rushes into the Star Land.
Although he kind of envies to know that Sakura is powerful enough to
use the two Cards at a time, he keeps running cutting
through the maze with his sword in search for Sakura.
In the search, he bumps into Yue in the maze.
On the other hand, Sakura finally finds the source of power;
what she sees there is surprisingly Clow Reeds magic circle
on which stands Eli with his wand. Although pretty impressed
by her magical power, he makes her faint with his magic
since it isn't the time yet she know his identity.
Characters in CC are competitive. Li kind of envied Sakura
when he knew she used two Cards at a time.
Sakura is woken up by Li and Yue, when she doesn't remember
what she saw at the source of the power, except that she
saw the magic circle. On the way home, after Madison
walks aparted homeward, Sakura motions Li into the park
for something to talk. She depressedly mentions that
Tori hast lost all his powers because she didn't have enough
powers to keep Yue in his strength. Li tries to cheer her
up, saying transforming the Cards needs a great deal of
powers. Thinking there're not many Cards to be transformed,
Sakura is beginning to wonder what will happen next when she
has transformed all the Cards.
The last scene in the park is completely changed from CCS.
Sakura in CCS talked to Syaoran about her broken heart in a
train of tears. In CC, the scene of tears is not necessary
so it was editted out by Nelvana.
Unlike CCS, Sakura's heart-broken story is never in the show because she doesn't have a crush on Julian from the first place. Sakura and Li devote themselves into Cards and magic. Anyway, I found these trivia in this episode:
