Lights, Camera, Vanish!

This episode corresponds to CCS Episode 65 “Sakura, Yukito and Disppearing Strength.” The title of this episode is a change of “Lights, camera, action!” which is supposedly a given direction by the director of a movie. That direction—not to mention—means directing to turn on the lights first, followed by starting the camera, and then the action starts.

Summary

Hearing Tori from inside the park on her way home from grocery store, Sakura takes a look inside. She stands between Tori and Julian, thinking they are fighting; however, Tori's class is stooting a movie for the film festival in the school. Ruby who is surprisingly the director requests Sakura to play in the movie.
In CCS, when Nakuru requested Sakura to play in the movie, Sakura and Touya shouted “Hoeee!” in response at the very same time. This scene was editted out in CC.

Next day, hearing that Sakura will be on the movie, Madison feels happy. Sakura tells her that the movie is a ditective story where Tori acts as the ditective, Julian as the murderer, and Sakura as Julian's little sister. But Tori's classmates have been looking for an old mansion appropriate for the settings of the movie. Unluckily to Madison, Sakura's costume is already prepared. Instead, Sakura says that she'll ask if it's okay for Madison to do Sakura's hair make-up.

At night, Sakura practices her line in the movie in the living room, having tea with Tori and Julian. When she runs out of tea, she goes to the kitchen to take another tea. Suddenly, Julian looks very exhausted. When Tori almost tells his friend what to do, Sakura comes back with tea. In turn Tori stands up and goes to the kitchen for some cookies. Sakura gasps to see that Julian's right shoulder is transparent. After her blinking several times, Julian's shoulder is no longer transparent; she thinks that it was just her imagination.

Meanwhile, Eli offers Ruby their house to be used as the old mansion in the movie. She is really pleased because she didn't even expect Eli would say yes. Eli assures her that he couldn't say no because it's the directory debut of Ruby Moon. Knowing the end of Yue's borrowed form is just close, Eli thinks he should start execution of his plan.

On the shooting day at Eli's house, Sakura is way too nervous. To ease her tension, Eli guides her to the chair in the middle of the living room. On sitting in, she can feel Clow Reed's presence coming out from the chair. Eli mentions that the chair has been in the room since many years ago. Soon the shooting starts. Getting nervous though, Sakura manages to play the role; Ruby is pleased with her action. When Sakura's action is all over, Sakura and her classmates including Eli walk out in the garden. At that time, the shooting of the final scene is about to start on the third floor. In the play, Julian runs out on the balcony and rests against the handrail. Seeing Juian's body is vanishing, Ruby chuckles evilly. Astonishingly, Julian in fading falls off the balcony. Tori jumps in a reflex catches him by the wrist, but his grip soon slips and Julian falls. In the nick of time, Sakura saved him by having the Windy Card catch him gently. That was really a close call. Tori jumps off the balcony onto the tree before getting down on the ground to see Julian. He is almost vanishing.
Ooh, Ruby was scary when she was waiting for Julian to vanish with an evil smile.

Guided by Eli into the bed room, Tori is alone with Julian laid on the bed. When Julian wakes up, Tori is about to tell what to do; then Ruby interrupts as ueual. But this time is different. Furious Tori pushes her out of the room and locked the door. Tori tells Julian to show his true form, then Yue appears in front of Tori. Tori is ready for giving all his power to Yue for saving his friend. But he has one thing to worry about: without his magic power he won't be able to sense danger nearing his sister. Yue promises to protect Sakura as the mandatory duty as the guardian. The transfer of power from Tori to Yue has been completed in a short time. The Tori lost his conciousness. Actually, the talk between Tori and Yue was heard by Sakura out at the door. She was crying to feel sorry for not having enough power to maintain Yue. The guardian soothes her saying that protecting the cards abd the guardians created by Clow Reed needs great deals of power beyond a girl's capacity.
Ruby Moon didn't mention that she wanted Tori's power, untike CCS. She was only disturbing Tori from giving his power to Yue, wasn't she.

On getting back home, Sakura tells Kero that Tori did know anything about Clow Cards and the guardians. Although surpised by having been known by Tori, Kero isn't shocked to know Tori gave all his power to Yue. He didn't say to Sakura anything about her power because she could have tried something crazy to maintain Yue. Kero assures her that he is always to help her because he's her friend just like Sakura said in the Final Judgement.
