A Present for The Cards

Summary

The Mirror Card in disguise as Sakura is talking to the other cards while Sakura is out for handling a strange occurrence. The room is unlit because Sakura is supposed to be sleeping in that hour. There's a knock on the window to signal Sakura's return. Mirror opens the window to let her master and Kero in the room. Sakura reports she transformed two cards that night. When Mirror is about to talk, there's a knock on the door. Sakura jumps into bed, Kero pretends to be a stuffed toy, and Mirror has to return to the card form immediately.

Next morning, Sakura and Tori leaves home for their schools. On their way, Tori asks Sakura if she has bought a present for their father. He suggests that two of them buy their father a wallet. They make a promise to meet at the school gate at four o'clock. When Tori comes in the classroom Julian is sleeping at his desk. Thinking it's not good to keep that up, Tori decided to tell him something; but Ruby comes up to interrupt them.

After school, Sakura and Li have an assignment to finish that day. Futhermore, Sakura has some stuff from the music room to take back. Midison goes home alone for prepartion for the Christmas. Li said he'll wait for Sakura to finish the assignment, and he'll tidy up the classroom while she take back the stuff to the misic room.
Sakura and Li are to do come assinment after the class... does that mean they get to take a detention? What did they do?
In CCS, that was not it. Sakura and Syaoran were on the classroom duty, perhaps writing a journal.

Later, walking to the music room, Sakura hears the piano piece played by Eli in the room. He has been practicing the performance for Christmas, Eli says.

Li is standing at the school gate when Sakura walks out of the building. She mentions that she's forgetting something important lately. At that time, they sense a strange presence. Li insists he go check what it could be and she stay because she's supposed to meet her brother. Instead, she calls out and asks the Mirror Card to meet Tori in her place, then she takes off with Li. Although Mirror has something to tell Sakura, but she can't. A few minutes later, Tori comes on his bike; he knows right away that it isn't Sakura who's been waiting there. Knowing Sakura's mission, he decided to go shopping with Mirror.

On the hill back of the school, the steel fences attack like poisonous snakes. With Li's thunderbolt, the fences break up into pieces, but they soon get back to attack again. Sakura transforms the Mist Card and uses it; the Mist successfully corrodes the steel fences. On the victory, Sakura suddenly knows what she was forgetting and runs back to school impulsively.

Meanwhile, Tori and Mirror stop at a coffee shop after their shopping. He says gratitude for helping Sakura, when he gives her ribbons he bought the same time he bought the wallet for his father. By his strong instincts, he knows that Mirror actually has long hair. She looks happy.

Sakura comes home from the window after dark. She takes out a casette tape for Mirror to listen. Playing the music on the tape she played before, Sakura says gratitude to all the Cards for helping her. In turn, Mirror says—representing all the cards—gratitude to Sakura for transforming the cards and that all the cards like her. When the speech is over, Mirror turns back into the card form, but Sakura notices the picture of Mirror wears ribbons on her hair. Not good at music though, it was that Sakura asked Eli to teach how to play the piano, she ended up playing the music with one hand and Eli played the other hand. That was how she recorded the music. That was a really nice present for the cards, Kero mentions.
