No Time For Sleep

Summary

Aiden Avalon, Sakura's father, has been busy lately for preparation for seminar next Monday where he'll give a lecture on his research. In that morning, he wakes up late and rushes in the kitchen; Tori and Sakura are there making breakfast for him, since the kids decided to help him around the house for the time being. Sakura, who packed the lunch for him, hands her father the lunch box when he's leaving home.
In CCS, there was a scene where Fujitaka was driving car to the university. When he was waiting the traffic light to change to green, he found a card attached to the lunch box which read “Good luck with your work,” written by Sakura. That scene was editted out in CC.

After school of that day, Sakura and Madison stop at a bookstore because Madison wants to get some design books in order to get a new concept of battle costumes. When Sakura tells Madison that she and Tori are doing all the chores for her father, Madison is amzaed to know Sakura and Tori are actually getting along. Shortly later, Madison has made up her mind and takes a dozen of books to the register to buy them. When the two girls are walking out of the book store, they happen to meet Julian who comes to pick up a book for Aiden. It's that he was asked by Tori because he's got practice late that day.

On that night, Sakura as asked by Tori, bring snacks for Aiden working in his study. Aiden takes a break and gives a bite on the sandwich. He says that he will stay over at the university a couple of night to finish his work. To Sakura asking what kind of people will be there in the seminar, Aiden replies that some are important people and some are just interested in ancient history. He added that he wants to learn everything he can, and whenver he knows something new he'll tell it others. His work will be useful for making future history by passing analogy. Later back in her room, Sakura talks to Kero about her plan to visit Aiden's university to take cookies for him with Madison.

As planned, Sakura and Madison are in the university with cookies for Aiden. University is so huge that they don't know which way to go to the anthropology department. At that time, a woman and two men addressed them. They happen to be Aiden's assistants, who offer to guide Sakura and Madison so they can see Aiden's lecture. According to the assistants, Aiden's history class is poplular. Later, Sakura and Madison are taken to Aiden's office where he is working with his laptop. Exhausted from work, Aiden dozes off when Sakura is talking; soon he wakes up, though. Stepping out of the building, Sakura and Madison talk and decide to buy some coffee for Aiden and his assitants.
The name of the university was never mentioned in this episode. But it should be Reedington University, anyway.
The names of Aiden's three assistants were never mentioned, either.

Getting back with cofee from the cafe, Aiden isn't in his office. The female assistants replies that he was called out by a professor. To the astonishment, the assistants fall a sleep all of a sudden. That was done by the Sleep Card, just by sprinkling a sleep powder. Subsequently attacked, Madison falls asleep as well. Sakura and Kero following the run-away Sleep Card, which makes anyone a sleep when it passes by. Sakura and Kero drive it in Aiden's office, but Kero fall asleep when he inhales the sleep powder filled in the room. Sakura uses the Windy Card to capture it. Using the Jump Card, she jumps up and seals the Sleep Card whe she steps on top of the pile of books on Aiden's desk. At the moment she takes the sealed card, the pile collapses and she fell. A bad accident has just happened. Aiden's laptop has been broken by books which fell off the pile; his work has been ruined. Kero wakes up; feeling sorry, he mentioned that cannot be fixed by magic. Sakura cries from guity feeling. Aiden who just walks back to his office, forgives Sakura, and soothes her saying that they will go home and have nice dinner.

Even though she was forgiven, Sakura can't sleep in the night in guilty feelings. Next morning, too, she can't cheer up. Aiden is cleaning his study to work all day. He says his work was almost done but ruined, which conversely implies that everything is just in his head. He mentions that working truly hard, he can make it in time under the condition; he needs a competent assistant. Sakura offers to help him as the competent assistant, and then Aiden accept her with a gentle smile.
In CCS, there was the scene where Sakura worked hard to assist Aiden later on that day. That scene was editted out.
