Sakura was waken up by a stuffed toy-like crature named
Keroberos (to be nicknamed Kero), and manages
to remember she accidentally broke the seal on the Clow Book and
let all the Cards fly out in town. Although she captured the Fly
Card the night before, she still doesn't like to be a Cardcaptor.
That morning, she acts earlier than usual since she was supposed
to meet Madison at school. She tells Kero that Tori and Aiden
are leaving home soon, too, then he can watch TV if wa wants,
and then she leaves home.
Wondering why she agreed to meet her best friend so early in
the morning, Sakura takes a shortcut to school.
For a different reason, Sakura left home early in CCS.
She had the day duty at school on that day. Further, Sakura took a
detour on her way to school (converse to CC, huh?)
so she could see Yukito's house on the way. Afterwards, she
happened to see Yukito in front of his house...
The scene implying Sakura's romantic feelings to him has to
be editted out by Nelvana regulation... or what?
As soon as Sakura comes into the classroom, Madison comes in smiling. She showed Sakura the video that she happened to tape the night before, in which Sakura is flying on the sealing wand with Kero flying aside of her. When Sakura is totally astonished with a scream, Kero supposed to be home comes out of her backpack mistaking that Sakura is in danger. Then Sakura has got to tell Tomoyo about the Clow Cards.
Next morning, desks and chairs are piled in the playground, and even in Sakura's classroom, everything is messed up, but nobody can figure out who's responsible for it. On getting back home, Sakura tells Kero about it, and he says that might have been the work of a Clow Card. Even though Sakura doesn't like it, but they decided to go out to school at that night for investigation. At night, when Sakura and Kero come to school, Madison comes by station wagon accompanied by bodyguards. When she let her bodyguards go back, she has Sakura change into one of the costumes she made. Soon after Sakura has changed into the battle costume, something stange happens. That is the work of the Shadow Card; it collected the shadows of every students, and it uses them to strengthen itself. When Sakura is about to flee on the Fly, one of the shadows seizes her. Sakura is almost defeated, as Tomoyo turned on all the lights in school then the shadows disappeared. Thanks to Tomoyo, Sakura can pinpoint the Shadow Card itself, so she uses the Windy Card to trap the Shadow and seals it.
Next morning, Sakura wanted to give something to Madison in return for the assist for card capture. The friend is in the video room to check the footage she videotaped the night before. She says to Sakura that she'll be charge of designing battle costumes later on.
