In unlit Sakura's room, Mirror Card being Sakura is talking with the deck of Cards which are glowing.
Mirror | OK, I'll talked to Sakura about it. I'll tell her as soon as she comes back home tonight. |
Sakura flies back home on the roof with Kero, where she knocks on the window of her room. The light is on, the Mirror Card walks up and open the window to let them in.
Sakura | Was everything OK? |
Miror | Yeah, your Dad stoped by once, and that's all. |
Sakura | That's good. Thanks for that. |
Back in her room, Sakura sits and collapses on bed, while Mirror is standing in front of her.
Sakura | Huhhhh! I'm pooked. |
Kero | Uh, you did great tonight. That was amazing how you transformed two Cards into Star Cards like that. |
Sakura | It was pretty cool tonight. But I don't know how I'm going transfrom all the Cards. |
Kero | And I don't get any idea about transforming other Cards once again, OK? |
Sakura | I know. But if I don't do something soon and I feel like I'm going to lose all the Cards and their magic. |
Kero | If you better hurry, strengthen your magic. |
Sakura | I know. I know. |
Mirror Card is looking for the time to start telling Sakura about something.
Mirror | Ummm... The Cards... |
Sakura | Yeah, what's that? |
There's a knock on the door as Sakura gasps.
Sakura | Someone's here! |
Sakura jumps on her feet, runs turn off the light and hurries back into bed, when Kero flies on the shelf to pretend being a stuffed animal. But Mirror is still standing.
Sakura | Huh?! Change back now! [To Mirror] |
Mirror | Uh, yeah, right. |
The Mirror Card transforms back into its card form. A few seconds later, the door opens as Tori peeks in suspiciously. He looks at Sakura under the bedding, Kero pretending being a stuffed animal, and the Cards on her desk.
Tori | I know you're not sleeping. I can hear you down in the hallway. Now get to sleep, Sakura; it's late. |
Sakura keeps pretending being sleeping. Tori half closes the door as he opens it again to check Kero, and then he truly closes the door.
Sakura&Kero | Uhhh... |
Kero | He's right. It is getting late. |
Sakura | Yeah, better get to sleep. I have to get up early tomorrow. |
Meanwhile, sitting in his chair in his house, Eli is watching what's happening in Sakura's room visioned in the magic circle on the floor.
Next morning, Kero is brushing his teeth.
Kero | You know, Sakura. I've... I've cheated times, but I think your brother is catching onto me. |
Sakura is running around the room and changes into her school uniform
Sakura | Oh, no! I'm going to be late! |
Kero | Hey, are you sure you'll let me still be here or what? |
Sakura | I don't have time right now! |
Kero | But he hides such strong powers that he knows about me. |
Sakura finishes changing cloths takes some pencils and erasers out of her drawer and puts them in her backpack.
Sakura | You want to be more careful around here, then. And especially when sneak down in the kitchen at night for food. |
Kero | I don't do that. |
Sakura | Don't worry, Kero. I promise you secret is saved with me. |
Tori and Sakura are leaving home for school.
Tori | Catch you later. |
Sakura | Bye, Dad. See you later. |
Sakura rollerblades after Tori on his bike to school.
Sakura | It's freezing. |
Sakura sees the Christmas tree decorated by the window in a house on the way.
Sakura |
It's a Christmas tree. I'll have to go buy Christmas present for everybody. Let's see. I'll get one for Madison, Chelsea, Nikki, and Rita. And then for Dad, Tori, and Julian. I get the feeling of missing someone. |
Tori | Hey. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Tori | Have you got a present for Dad, yet? |
Sakura | No, not yet. What do you think I should get him? |
Tori | You should get him a wallet. He needs a new one. |
Sakura | Perfect, and that's exactly what I'll get him. |
Tori | Do you have enough saving, huh? Wallets can be pretty expensive. |
Sakura | Oh, what am I going to do, now? I don't have enough money to buy Dad a new wallet. |
Tori | You know, I was thinking of getting Dad a wallet, too. Why don't we go in on it together? |
Sakura | Really? |
Tori | Yeah, actually, I was thinking going to get it today. |
Sakura |
I'll go with you. Huh? |
Julian is not standing where he usually meets Sakura and Tori on the way to school.
Sakura | Hey, Julian's not here today. I wonder what happened to him. |
Tori knowing something doesn't say anything. Few minutes later, they are in front of Reedington Elementary School.
Tori | Let's meet here at four o'close today. |
Sakura | OK, four o'clock it is. |
Tori comes in his classroom.
Girl | Good morning. |
Tori | Morning. |
Julian is sleeping at his seat.
Tori | Julian! Hey, Julian. Wake up! Hey, wake up! |
Julian | Oh, hey, Tori. Good morning. |
Tori | You're here early today. |
Julian | Well, I'm sleepy in the late every morning. So I decided to come early and sleep here. |
Julian falls into sleep.
Tori | Julian, wake up! Wake up! Hey! |
Julian | What? |
Tori | I can't keep this up. |
Julian | Hmm? |
Tori | Julian, I know that... |
Ruby | What's going on here, Tori?! |
Suddenly, Ruby jumps at and hung onto Tori.
Tori | What do you want? |
Ruby | I just missed you. That's all. |
Tori | We just saw yesterday at school. You remember? |
Ruby | Yeah, that was twelve hours ago! |
Tori | No, no. Leave me alone. |
Ruby | Come on. |
Tori | Aw, that hurts! |
Ruby | Oh, Tori... |
At the church up on the hill in Reedington, mysteriously Eli sees around the town stading high up on the tip of the sharp roof.
Eli | Now, it's the time to listen to your intuitions, Sakura. |
When the class is dismissed, Madison packing her belongings in her backpack talks to Sakura.
Madison | A present to your Dad? |
Sakura | Yeah, I'm going to meet Tori after school today. So I won't be able to walk home with you. |
Madison | Oh, that's OK, Sakura. I have something to get ready for the Christmas myself anyway. |
Sakura | Oh. |
Madison | Christmas is just around the corner. I still have to get presents for my mom and for you! |
Sakura | Huh? |
Madison | See you later, Sakura. Ha! |
Madison dashes out of the scene. Sakura and Li only who are in the classroom see Madison vanishes, as Sakura nervously laughs.
Sakura | I better hurry up and finish this assignment. Oh, you can go leave ahead of me if you are able to take back all the stuff from the music room for me, Li. I'll make sure the classroom is tidy before I leave school today. |
Li | Huh? I'll... wait for you. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Li | I'll wait for you to finish your assignment, and you can take back all the stuff to the music room. I'll just stay and tidy up the classroom, OK? |
Sakura | OK. |
When her assignment has been finished, Sakura is taking the stuff to the music room.
Sakura | Well, thanks. See you tomorrow. |
Li | Later, see you. |
Li restarts writing something at his desk.
On the way, Sakura hears someone play the piano in the music room; the pianist is Eli when nobody is in the room.
Sakura | What a beautiful song! |
Eli | Thanks a lot, Sakura. I've been practicing for days. |
Sakura | For what? |
Eli | You the big church is up on the hill? Well, I'm going to be be performing there for Christmas mass. |
Sakura | Wow, that's great. |
Sakura listen to the piece of music Eli is playing.
Tori walks out of his school building with Julian.
Tori | Are you sure you're OK on your own? |
Julian | Yeah, I got a lot of sleep during the class. I really shouldn't be doing, that's all. |
Tori is looking with worry at Julian from behind.
Tori | Julian. |
Julian turned around to look back at Tori.
Julian | Yeah? What is it? |
Tori | I know everything. I know that you... |
At this very moment, Ruby pops up.
Ruby | Tori! |
Tori | Ugh?! |
Ruby is sitting on the stone ornament at the etrance of the school.
Ruby | Where on the earth have you been hiding? |
Jumping off the ornament, she hops up to and hangs onto Tori.
Ruby | Heh heh, Hmmm! |
Tori | You are always interrupting! |
Ruby | Interrupting what? What are you talking about, Tori? |
Tori | Get off of me! |
Julian walks away alone.
Julian | Well, see you tomorrow. |
Tori |
Hey, Julian! Nngh, you won again. |
Ruby | What do you mean? |
When Li is waiting and looking around at the school gate, Sakura catches up to him.
Sakura | Hey Li, wait up. |
Li | Hey, I thought that you already left. |
Sakura | I took a while in the music room. So what are you still doing here, Li? |
Li | Me? [gettign upset] Just hanging around. Just making tree, don't you mind what happened or anything. OK, see you! |
Li kind of upset is walking away.
Sakura | Uhhh... Hey, wait, Li. |
Li walks backward to Sakura.
Li | Yeah? What is it? |
Sakura | I have this really strange feeling that I'm forgetting something or someone important lately. |
Li | What? |
Sakura and Li senses a strange aura at the back of school.
Sakura | Huh? |
Li | Huh? You feel that? |
Sakura | It must be Clow Reed. |
Li | I'm going to go check it out. You stay here. |
Sakura | No way. I'm going with you. |
Li | The point is, your brother will be susupicious if you're not here to meet up with him. |
Sakura | Yeah, you're right. I know! |
Sakura takes out the magic key to release her magic.
Sakura | The key of the star, the powers burning bright, reveal the star and shine your light. Release! |
Sakura takes out the Mirror Card.
Sakura | Mirror! |
The Mirror Card takes its visible form before transforming into the carbon copy of Sakura.
Sakura | Mirror, I have another favor to ask of you. |
Mirror | Oh, OK. |
Sakura | Oh, thank you. |
Mirror | Ummm... |
Sakura | I want you to go shopping with my brother in my place, OK? |
Mirror | Umm... |
Sakura | What? |
Mirror | OK. |
Sakura | Thank you. |
Sakura somehow knows Mirror is meaning to talking something.
Mirror | The Cards... |
Li | Come on, let's go. |
Li pulls Sakura and running to the source of aura.
Mirror |
I still haven't been able to tell her. Hugh! Shopping with her brother. [Blushes] |
Sakura and Li tracking Clow Reed's aura, are up on the hill back of school.
Sakura | I can definitely feel Clow Reed. |
Li | But nothing strange has happened yet. |
Eli standing up on a branch of a tree, swings his wand to use his magic. The steel fences rises like snakes in attacking position.
Tori on a bike comes to the school gate of Reedington Elementary School.
Tori | Been waiting long? Hmm? |
Mirror | Let's get going. |
Tori | Duhhh... Tell me. Something happened to Sakura again? |
Mirror | Huh? Oh, umm... |
Tori | OK. She's gone with that kid. I guess she doesn't want me to know. |
Mirror being a carbon copy of Sakura is standing without a word.
Tori | Now, let's go shopping together. All right? |
Mirror | OK! |
Up on the hill, steel fences are attacking the two Cardcaptors. No matter how many times they're knocked and slashed, they grow back and attack again.
Sakura uses the Jump Card to dodge the attack.
Sakura | Jump! |
The fence grows for stabbing Sakura, but Li stops it with his magic.
Li | Element Lighting, come to my aid. |
The fence gets broken in pieces until Sakura lands back on the hill.
Sakura | Ungh, thanks, Li. |
Li | Look out! |
Sakura | What? |
The broken pieces of fence get back together to normal.
Sakura | It's coming back again. |
Li | What... should... we... do? [while blocking the attck] |
Sakura | It's... coming... back... even though... we... cut... it. [while blocking the attack] |
The fence thrusts Sakura backward; she falls on her back.
Sakura | Aw! |
Li | Sakura! |
Sakura | I know. That's the Card! |
Sakura takes out the Mist Card.
Sakura | I call upon the powers of my star, ancient forces near and far. Mist Card, tranform all your might, and draw your powers from my might. Star Card! |
The Mist rounds up the fence, and the attacking fence gets rusty though into pieces. The rusty pieces are blown my cold wind.
Li | You did it! |
Sakura is looking at the Mist Card she has transformed without a word.
Li | Hey, are you all right? |
Sakura | Yeah, I'm OK. |
Li | What's wrong? |
Sakura | I think I've just figured out what I've been forgetting to do. |
Li | Huh? |
Sakura | Oh, yeah! I wonder if he's been practintg. |
Li | What? |
Sakura | Sorry, Li, but I gotta run now. |
Tori and the Mirror (being Sakura) are in a coffee shop for a break after their shopping. Tori sips the coffee, while the Mirror is sitting shyly.
Tori | Don't worry. I won't mention to Sakura. |
Tori puts a small gift in front of her.
Mirror | Huh? |
Tori | It's for you. I picked that up for you in the store buying the wallet for my Dad. I want you to have it. Some little Christmas present. |
Mirror | What's that? For me? |
Tori | Um-hmm. |
The Mirror unwraps the box and finds ribbons inside.
Tori | Your hair is actually quite long. |
She smiles and holds one of the ribbons preciouly.
Mirror | Thanks so much. |
Tori | No, thanks you for helping Sakura all the time. |
Afer dark, Sakura flies onto the roof of her house, when she knocks on the window.
Kero | Sakura, where have you been? Do you know what time it is?! I've worried sick about you! |
Sakura | I'm sorry. |
Mirror | Welcome back. |
When she gets in her room, Sakura takes a cassette tape.
Sakura | I'd like you to listen to this. |
Mirror | Is it for me? |
Sakura | Yep. |
She put the casette tapen in the player, which is played with a piano piece.
Kero | OK, what's with the song? |
Sakura | Heh heh, I'm giving it all the Cards as a present. First, I've just wanted to say thanks for all of the times you helped me out when I was in trouble. I played and recorded the song for all the Cards to hear it as my thanks. And I hope they'll keep working with me. |
Sakura&Mirro | Heh heh heh. |
Mirror | There's something I've been trying to tell you all day. |
Sakura | What? |
Mirror | Thanks for trying so hard to change us into the Star Cards. We really like you as a new master. And we really wanted to know we're always here to help you when you need us. We will do our best to assist you no matter if the task is a simple one or a dangeous and difficult one. We are here for you. |
Sakura | Thanks. |
The Mirror transforms into the card form. Picking the Card, Sakura gets puzzled because...
Sakura | Was she wearing the ribbons before? |
Kero | Uh, Sakura, can I ask you something? |
Sakura | What is it, Kero? |
Kero | Music isn't your thing. So how did you play the piano so well on the tape? |
Sakura | Oh... uh... well I... |
Sakura hurriedly open the door of the music room where Eli was still practing.
Sakura | Eli, can you teach me how to play the song you're practicing? |
Eli smiled and agreed. | |
Sakura | Anyway, I ended up playing with one hand, and Eli played the other hand. That's how I played the song. |
Kero | That figures. |
Sakura | What do you mean figures? It was a lot of work, you know. |
Kero | I know. It must've been, Sakura. That was really nice thing to give for the Card. |
Sakura | Thanks. |
Kero | Now, concentrate on getting the rest of the Cards transformed. |
Sakura | Right. [Smiles] |
