Nikki | Yeah, I read about it in the newspaper. But it said tbat you're only allowed to enter in pairs. Oh, I guess you'll go stuck to Zachary. |
Chelsea | Uh, yeah, that's okay. Perhaps annoying with those crazy stories, but he really likes quizes. And how about you, Sakura? |
Sakura | What? |
The cheerleading aquad start practicing twirling batons.
Sakura | Hmmm, a quiz tournament. I don't think I'll have to do chores tomorrow. Maybe I'll ask Madison to be my partner. It'll be fun. |
Thinking Sakura takes eyes off the baton, which falls onto her head. She laughs nervously with embarassment.
On their way home from school, Sakura's gang are walking, when Sakura is still suffering the pain in the head.
Sakura | Awww.... |
But Sakura finds the notice for the quiz tournament.

Julian | Why don't we sign up together? |
Julian is standing and smiling.
At that evening, Aiden is cooking when Sakura is setting the table.
Aiden | A quiz in Reedington, huh? It sounds like a lot of fun. |
Sakura | Yeah, I'm going to go out with Julian. |
Aiden | And what about you, Tori? |
Tori | I've got to work tomorrow. [Sawing something] |
Sakura | I'm going to win and bring home a really big prize. |
Aiden | That will be fantastic. But I'm sure you're going to run in some competition, and try your best. |
Sakura | Okay. |
Tori throws the clothe he has been sawing to Sakura.
Tori | Yeah, I'm done. |
Sakura | Thanks, Tori. You know what? I'm going wear this tomorrow. |
Tori | You owe me big time for that, squirt. |
Meanwhile, Kero is alone in Sakura's room looking out the window. Kero opens the desk drawer with his magic to take out the Book of Clow.
Kero | My powers still haven't returned yet. Yue. |
Next morning, many people gather at the city hall to sign up for the Quiz Tournament. Sakura runs to Chelsea and Zachary.
Sakura | Good morning! |
Chelsea | Oh, hey there, Sakura. |
Zachary | So you're ready for the big tournament? |
Meiling comes up witb laugh.
Meilin | Ah heh heh! [Doing warming-up excercises] |
Sakura | Hey, Meilin, Li? [Sweatdrops] |
Meilin | What are you doing here, Avalon? You know Li and I will be taking home all the prizes today. So you might as well just go home now! |
Li tries to sneak out of the spot, but Meilin catches him.
Meilin | Hey, where are you going, bastard? |
Li | Meilin, you are too much. |
Julian | Hey, you guys. |
Julian runs to Sakura waving his hand.
Sakura | Julian. |
Julian | Hi, Sakura. Sorry I'm so late this morning. I've been so tired lately I didn't hear my alarm. Are you ready to go partner? |
Sakura | Yeah. |
Li | Humph. |
Julian | I'll just go and sign us up. |
Chelsea | Me too. [Follows Julian with Zachary] |
Meilin | Now you wait right here, Li. [Follow them] |
People are waiting for the Quize Tournament to begin.
Rita | Good luck, guys! |
Nikki | You can do it, Sakura. |
A city hall staff comes up with a microphone.
Staff | Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. What a beutiful day it is for Reedington Quiz Competition. We hope that all the contestants and audiences will have a fun day. |
People | Yeah. |
Meilin | Heh heh. [Chuckles] You better get a fun. |
Staff |
Now I'll explain the contest rules.
One, everyone will be given a quiz. Once the quiz has been solved
the participant will receive the piece of paper with the next
location written on it. In that area, there's another quiz.
There are ten quizes in all. Once the quiz is answered correstly,
a stamp will be entered in your entry form that each participating team
received. Once the card has been compeletely filled the participants will reveive the paper with the final location written on it. And there... |
Another staff raise the carving of flower to show it to the participants.
Staff | You should find this beautiful carving of the local flower of our very own Reedington. Once you find it, please return it to this ground immediately. If you have find a carving before ten stamps, please leave it. You need both the ten stamps and the carving to complete the contest. There're carvings in all kind of places including very sneaky hiding spots. So I wish luck in finding them. |
Chelsea | This sounds tough. |
Zachary | You're really wrong afterwards. I'm a pro of quizes. We'll raise the cometition and we will definitely get a prize today. |
Chelsea | You think so? |
Zachary | Speaking of quizes, the person who created a quiz was a Greek philosopher. What animal has four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs at night. That was the very first quiz that was ever invented. And it's unbeievable... |
Chelsea | Yeah, whatwever... |
Zachary | So the very first person to answer the quiz was... |
Chelsea drags Zachary off the spot. Sakura is trying to find the answer to the quiz.
Sakura | Hey, Zachary, what about the answer to your quiz? |
Julian | It's a human. First, it's a baby on all fours, and that on walks on two legs, and walks with a cane. |
Sakura | I get it. |
Staff | And now for the first question. |
Other staffs show the paper illustrating a star shaped with ten match sticks.
Staff |
Exactly ten match sticks to made the star.
You will need ten match sticks to make a diffrent star. If you think you know the answer to this question, please tell one of the people in the booth. If you are correst you will receive the paper with the next location on it. |
Sakura | I don't know. |
Julian | Come on. I think I know the answer. |
Julian and Sakura walks in the booth, there is Tori.
Sakura | Oh, Tori. What are you doing here? |
Tori | I'm working. |
Julian puts the ten match stick on the table aside, and next place them to form the kanji character meaning star.
Julian | Is this the answer? |
Tori | That's right. |
Julian | That's how you spell star in Japanese. |
Sakura | Wow! |
Tori | Here. [Hands Julian the paper] |
Sakura | Here! [Takes out the participant form] |
Tori stamps on the form.
Julian | Well, see you later, Tori. |
When the two participants walk out the booth, Meilin rushes into the booth pulling Li with her.
Li | Hey, let go of me! |
At a glance, Li prepared for fighting Tori.
Li | Hmmm! |
Li and Tori are exchanging provocative look.
Meilin |
I got it! There! [Tosses the match sticks] The match sticks are the stars in the sky! |
Tori | Ughh... Wrong answer. [Sweatdrops] |
Meilin | How come?! |
Meilin places the match sticks in the orion constellation.
Meilin | Look, the orion constellation. |
Tori | Wrong again. [Sweatdrops] |
Meilin | Why?! |
On the other hand, Sakura and Julian are making progress through the quizes. They answer a quize, run to the next location, answer another quize, and...
Julian | Well, we only have one left to go. |
Sakura | Yep. |
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Zachary are in the playground of Reedington Elementary School, where they just answered the quiz given by Ms. Mackenzie.
Layla | That's correct. |
Chelsea | Way to go, Zachary. |
Zachary | That one was really easy, Chelsea. |
Chelsea | At this rate, we are going to win the prize for sure. |
Sakura and Julian walks in.
Sakura | Hi, Chelsea. |
Chelsea | Hey there, Sakura. |
Sakura | Hey, Ms. Mackenzie, what are you doing here? |
Layla |
Oh, I came out to help since there are so many students
from my class here in the tournament. Hi, Julian. |
Julian | Heh heh heh. |
Layla | Hmm. [Smiles] |
Sakura | So tell me, Chelsea. How many stamps do you have? |
Chelsea | We have ten. We have all of them. |
Layla | I think taht you and Zachary are in the lead. |
Sakura | That's great! |
Layla | How many stamp do you and Julian have? |
Sakura | Nine so far. |
Layla | So this will be the last one. Good luck, then. |
Sakura | Thanks a lot. |
Chelsea | See ya! |
Sakura | Bye. Good luck to the both of you. |
Chelsea and Zachary walk off.
Layla | Well, are you ready for the last question? |
Julian | You bet, all ready. |
Layla puts a flask on the desk which hold a ball inside.
Sakura | Oh. |
Layla | You have to get the ball out of the flask without putting your hand inside or breaking the glass or turning it upside down. |
Sakura | What?! |
Layla | First of all, you do rock-paper-scissors. |
Sakura | Hmm? |
Sakura&Julian |
Rock-paper-scissors. [Both takes paper] Rock-paper-scissors. [Both takes rock] Rock-paper-scissors. |
Sakura wins by taking scissors.
Layla |
The peroson who won the rock-paper-scissors
will now have to answer the question. That's you, Sakura. |
Julian | No problem. Just take your time and think about it. I'm sure you'll come up with the right answer. |
Sakura | Huhh. Okay. |
Sakura is thinking and looking at the flask from all direction.
Layla | Julian, I know who is... |
Julian | Yes? |
Sakura | I got it! |
Julian | You figured it out? |
Sakura | Yeah, watch this. |
Sakura puts the flask under the water tank and puts water inside. The ball floats up to the opening of the flask.
Sakura | See? I got the ball out! |
Layla | Yes, that is correct. |
Sakura | Hey, I did it, I did it, I did it! |
Julian | Way to go, Sakura. |
Sakura | Heh heh heh. I want stamp, please. |
Layla | Coming up. [Stamps the form] |
Sakura | Bye, Ms. Mackenzie. |
Layla | Good luck, Sakura. |
Sakura | Thanks. |
Julian | Well, shall we then? Let's see the final location is... |
Layla | Sakura. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Layla | Be careful. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Layla | There's going to be a full moon tonight. |
Madison holding her videocame is wating for Sakura to come out of the school gate. Sakura and Julian comes out, but Sakura is deep in thoughts.
Madison | Hey, Sakura, over here. |
Sakura keeps quiet. | |
Madison | Hmmm? What's the matter? |
Sakura | Mmmm. It's nothing. |
Julian | The final location is somewhere in Penguin Park, and that's where the carving will be. |
Sakura | See you later. |
Julian |
See you. Let's go. |
Julian and Sakura runs for the final location.
Sakura and Julian arrives at the park where there's a gigantic penguin slide.
Julian | I think this is the way. |
Sakura | Okay, let's go. |
Sakura and Julian walks in the woods in the park.
Julian | I think we must be getting close. |
Sakura | I really hope so. The faster we find the carving the faster we can get out of here. |
Julian | The carving must be somewhere around here, but... |
Julian takes out the paper he received at Layla's booth to check. Sakrua walks to the edge of a cliff. Gazing up, she can see the full moon up in the sky.
Sakura | The moon. Cool, you can even see the full moon during the day. |
Seeing the moon, Sakura falshbacks Layla warning Sakura.
Layla | Be careful, there's going to be a full moon tonight. |
The scene overlaps the strange dreams she had some nights, Sakura is getting dizzy. She is falling off the cliff. Julian hers rocks falling from Sakura's place.
Julian | Sakura! |
Julian holds and falls with Sakura off the cliff to protect her.
Meanwhile, Kero is looking at the moon in Sakura's room.
Kero | Sakura. |
Sakura wakes up after dark down the cliff. She has Julian's coat being put over her body to keep warm. She remembers that she fell off the cliff with Julian.
Sakura | Julian! |
Julian | Are you okay? Aren't you hurt at all? |
Julian was sitting next to her.
Sakura | No. |
Julian | Thank goodness. |
Julian stands up once, but he collapses down from the pain in the shine.
Sakura |
You hurt your leg! [Walks to Julian] Oh, Julian, it's all my fault. I should have been more careful. Look what I've done. I'm sorry. |
Julian |
Don't worry. [Pats Sakura's head] Can't you walk? |
Sakura | I think. |
Julian | Okay, I found this hidden between two trees. See? |
Julian show Sakura the carving he found under the fall.
Sakura | Wow! |
Sakura looks up to see the moon.
Sakura | Hmm? I wonder if everyone's finished already. |
Julian | If you help walk, I'm sure we'll be back together. |
Sakura | Okay. |
The Staff and Tori is waiting for Sakura and Julian to be back where Sakura's friends are waiting as well.
Meiling is still trying the first quiz.
Melin | Well, in this way! Wait a minute, like this! |
Li | Huhhh... [Sighs] |
One of Madison's bodyguarding lady walks up.
Gurad | I'm sorry, I can find them anywhere, Miss. |
Madison | Where are they? |

Chelsea | Yeah, they should have finished up the last already. |
Zachary | Where could they be gone to? |
Li walks to Tori. | |
Li | Haven't they come back yet? |
In spite of answering Tori walks.
Li | Hey, are you going to look for them? |
Tori | Yeah. |
Li | I'm coming with you. |
Tori and Li can see Sakura helping Julian walk back.
Tori | Sakura! |
Madison | Sakura. |
Chelsea | What? |
Tori | Hmm. [Smiles] Where have you been? |
Sakura | Well, Julian got hurt. It was all my fault. |
Tori | What? |
Julian | It's nothing, really. |
Julian collapses onto Tori.
Tori |

Sakura | I'm fine, but I think I should get Julian home right away. |
Tori | Yeah, you are right. |
Sakura's friends runs up to her with a relief.

Sakura | Hmmm. |
Tori helps Julian walk home, when Sakura looks up at the full moon. |
