On Sunday morning, Sakura opens the window.
Sakura | Hey, the sun came out! |
Kero | Sure it did. There was some storm last night. You're up pretty early for Sunday, aren't you? Huh? |
Sakura | Yeah! Madison and I are going to the new amusement park today. [Swings Kero around with joy] We've planning it for a whole week! Hey, wanna come with us? You can hide in my back pack! |
Kero | Whoaa! Whoa-aah! |
Sakura | You will love the rollercosters. |
Sakura walks in to the dining room in a good mood.
Sakura | Morning! |
Aiden | Morning, Sakura. You're up early. |
Tori | Yeah, it's not even noon, yet. |
Sakura |
Grrr. I'll let that one go. [Humming] |
Aiden | So, what's got you in such a good mood this morning? |
Sakura | Heh heh heh, Madison and I are going to the amusement park. |
Aiden | But... |
Tori | Aren't you forgetting something? |
Tori shows Sakura the fimily timetable.
Sakura | Huh? |
Tori | You traded chore days with him. |
Sakura | Ohh... |
Aiden brings a pile of landry to Sakura before he gets going.
Aiden |
Well, here's all the landry. Do you need a little help? |
Sakura | You've got you lectures to think about. Don't worry, I can take care of it. |
Aiden | I'm sorry. |
Sakura | No problem. |
Aiden | OK, then, I'll put this over to the washing machine. |
Sakura | OK. |
Tori | See you, squirt. [Gets going] |
Sakura | See you, Tori. |
Aiden | Well, I'd better be off, too. |
Sakura | Uh-huh. Have a good day. |
Aiden | See you later. |
After Sakura see her father off, she droops her head.
Sakura is calling Madison for a rain check.
Sakura | I'm really sorry. I totally forgot we traded weekends. |
Madison | It'll take you all day? |
Sakura | Yeah, I think so. |
Madison | Don't worry about it, Sakura. We'll just go some other time, OK? |
Sakura | Thanks. See you at school tomorrow. |
Madison | Heh. OK, see you. |
Hanging up, Madison sighs with depression; in front of her were a linch box and a backpack for the picnic.
Sakura |
Oh... I guess I'll have to make it up to her. Times are wasting. Better get starting! |
Sakura is washing the dishes.
Sakura | Hey, Kero. How's it going? |
Kero is putting landry in the washing machine.
Kero | Ooh, they go out for the day, and I get stuck doing all the darning work. Humph! [Press the switch] |
Sakura cleans every room in her house. When she's cleaning the carpet, she finds a Card underneath it.
Sakura |
Oh, wow! Wood. This is a Clow Card! Heh heh heh. |
Meanwhile, Kero is looking in the washing mashine.
Kero | Hey, what's up? It's stuck. |
Sakura | Kero, Kero! |
Kero | Yeah? Aaaah! |
Kero staggers into the washing machine, and machine starts to work.
Sakura |
Kero, look! I found a Clow Card! Kero?
Where'd he go? Oh, well. I guess I'll show him later. |
When the washing cycle is over, Kero dizzily crawls out of the mashine.
Kero |
Oh, I was right over... Aah! This is not good! The Guardian Beast shouldn't be good at housework. |
Sakura | Kero, when we're done I'm gonna make you a big sandae! |
Kero | Oh, then again. For it's a little housework, huh? |
Sakura comes down the basement with a vacuum cleaner.
Sakura | One room left. |
Sakura opens the skylight, and starts vacuuming; Kero is hanging the landry up to dry meanwhile. A Card is sucked on the nozzle on the vacuum cleaner.
Sakura |
Uh-oh, someone spilt the ink.
Oh, another Clow Card. I can't believe it.
Two Clow Cards in one day! I wonder which one it is. |
She puts the two Cards on the desk.
Sakura | I'm getting pretty good at capturing things. |
The phone rings. | |
Sakura | Uh? Phone! I'm coming. |
Sakura rushes to the phone.
Sakura | Hello. |
Aiden | Sakura, it's Dad. |
Sakura | Hi, Dad. What's up? |
Aiden | Did I leave my blue envelope on the kitchin table? |
Sakura | Yeah, you did. |
Aiden | All of my materials for the lecture are in there. Could you bring me to the bus stop for me? |
Sakura | I'm on my way. |
Sakura puts on her rollerblades.
Sakura | Kero! I'll be back in a while. |
Kero | Where did she go? |
Meanwhile the Clow Card covered with ink glows and erases the ink itself.
On the other hand, Sakura manages to brings Aiden his material in time, and sees him off on the bus
Sakura | Bye, Dad! |
Aiden | Thanks again, Sakura! |
Sakura come back home. | |
Sakura | I'm home! |
Sakura sees the landry hung on the bacony to dry.
Sakura | Oh! |
Sakura runs up stairs to her room.
Sakura | Kero? |
Kero is taking a nap on Sakura's bed.
Sakura | Thanks so much. |
Kero | Hey... is it time for lunch yet? |
Sakura | I'll make you anything you want. |
Sakura hears something rumbling.
Sakura | Kero. Kero, wake up! |
Kero | Uhh, is it ready yet? |
Sakura | Did you hear that, Kero? |
Kero | Hear what? |
The house is rumbling and shaking.
Sakura | Uh. Ohhh! |
Sakura and Kero step out of the room.
Sakura | Where's that coming from? |
Kero | Sounds like downstairs. |
Sakura | Hmm. |
Kero | There is nothing to worry about. |
Sakura | Easy for you to say. |
Sakura and Kero gets downstairs, and look into the rooms for what is happenning.
Kero | It's in the basement. |
Sakura gets her ear closer to the door to hear the basement.
Kero | Sounds like it's getting closer. |
Sakura | Mm-hmm. |
Kero | Go on. |
Sakura half opens the door to look inside.
Kero | Hmm, it's too dark to see anything. |
A strange tree is growing out of the basement, so Sakura hurriedly shut the door, snapping a branch down on the floor.
Sakura | What is that? |
Kero | Well, it looks like a branch of a tree. |
Sakura | Since when are there trees in the basement?! |
The branch disappers. | |
Kero | Huh? The Wood Card is behind this! |
Sakura | Wood Card? That reminds me! |
Sakura and Kero are pushing the door aginst the growing tree.
Kero | Huh? You mean you left the Card there without signing your name on it? |
Sakura | I'm sorry. I didn't think I have to seal it. It was still in its card form. |
Kero | It doesn't matter. The Clow Cards will only obey you when they're sealed with your signature, Sakura. |
Sakura | But it's never left the house. Why is it suddenly acting out now? |
Kero | Hmm. The Wood Card is usually sincere gentle spirit, too. I've never seen it act this way. |
Sakura | Can we stop it? |
Kero | Hmm. |
Sakura | Kero, don't let go of the door! |
The door is pushed open half a foot, then the vines come out and tangle around Sakura's ankle and Kero.
Sakura | Uh! Kero, do something! Quick! |
Kero | I'm a little tied up, in case you haven't noticed? |
At this time, the doorbell rings.
Sakura | Huh? Someone's at the door. |
The bell rings again. | |
Sakura |
Ohh... This is not good. |
The bell rings. | |
Sakura | Who could that be? |
Kero | Good question. We'll know soon. |
Sakura |
Grrr. Kero, I'm serious. I've got forest in my basement and a stuffed teddy bear talking to me. How am I supposed to explain this? |
Kero | Now you got me. |
The doorbell rings again.
Sakura | I'm coming! |
Kero | Ugh! Why'd you answer it?! |
Sakura |
Huh! I forgot. What do I do now? |
Kero | Don't ask me. I don't know. [Puts on teddy bear impression] |
Sakura | Kero? |
Kero | Teddy bears can't talk, you know. |
Sakura | Whoaaa! |
The tree thrust with their might, and send Sakura and Kero to the door. Someone at the door opens the door.
Sakura | Oh, I just can't look. |
Madison | Sakura? |
Sakura | Uh heh heh, Madison! |
Madison | I thought you could use some help with chores. |
Madison gets Kero and Sakura free from the vines.
Kero | Aaah. |
Madison | So, cathing up on your gardening? |
Sakura | Not exactly, Madison. It's the Wood Card. |
Madison | Oh. |
Kero | Sakura, now is the chance to seal it. |
Sakura |
Mm-hmm. Release! Return to your power confined. Wood Card! |
The vines gets shrinks back into the basement.
Madison | Hey, you captured it, Sakura. |
Sakura | Huh? |
Madison | What? Is something that matters? |
Sakura | The Card isn't here. |
Kero | No, no, that's impossible. It mush have fallen here somewhere. |
Madison | What about the basement? |
Sakura | Yeah, must be down there. |
Kero | Alright, kids. Let's get it. |
Sakura | Yeah. |
The house rumbles and shakes again, then the vines are growing out of the basement. Sakura, Madison, and Kero run up the stairs to escape.
Kero |
Right upstairs! Sakura. |
No sooner had all the kids come out on the balcony, the vines grows out just before their eyes. Actually, the vines are not attcking Sakura, but sticks out the house and suddenly wear plenty of green leaves.
Sakura | Hey, I think it's stopped. |
Kero | You're absolutely right. Maybe it's just wanted some sunlight. |
Madison | It's the Wood Card, all right. |
Kero |
Aaah! Aaah! My landry! No, I have to start it over again. |
Madison | Don't sweat it, partner. |
Sakura | That's right. We'll help you. |
Kero | What a mess. |
Sakura&Madison | Ohh... |
Madison | So, what are we going to do about this? |
Sakura | Well, I suppose I have to seal the Card at its source. |
Kero | I'm coming with you. I've got bombed to pick up this Clow Card. |
Sakura | Shall we try the basement? |
Kero | Right on. |
The house rumbles again.
Sakura | So now what? |
Madison | It sounds like an earthquake. |
Kero | No, the house is creaking. The Card's still growing. |
Sakura | But it was so quiet. |
Kero | They're exposed to the sunlight now, that means they're growing faster and faster. |
Madison | It'll destroy the house. |
Sakura | Oh, no! |
Kero | Time for a serious gardening, Sakura. |
Sakura come out in a pink battle costume made by Madison.
Sakura | It's a cute costume. But why do you have it with you, Madison? |
Madison is videotaping Sakura.
Madison | I made it last night, just in case you found a Clow Card in the amusement park. |
Sakura and Kero move their way over the vines to the basement, and Madison follows them with her camcorder.
Kero | We're almost there. |
Sakura | Hah! |
Kero | This way, girls. |
The kids travel from room to room, weaving through the vines.
Sakura | Huhh... |
Kero | Just a little further. |
The house shakes violently.
Madison | We better hurry. |
Sakura walks down the stairs to the basement, when she feel another strange sound.
Sakura | What's that sound? |
Madison | I don't know. |
When Sakura gets on the basement, the floor is covered with few-inch-thick of water.
Sakura | Hey, it's water. |
Kero | What? Water doesn't come from the Wood Card. |
Sakura | It must be from the other Card. |
Kero | What's that? You mean there's another Card? |
Sakura | Yeah. |
Kero | That must be it. |
Back inside the basement, there's a tree, the source of the vines, above which a small cloud is pouring rain.
Sakura | Huh? |
Kero | It's the Rain Card. |
Madison | Rain Card? |
Kero |
That explains why the Wood Card is stronger than usual.
It's been fueled by the Rain Card. Get it, Sakura. |
Sakura | Right. |
Madison | OK, camera is rolling. |
Sakura |
Rain, Wood! This is going far enough! |
Madison | Looking good. |
Kero | Hey, Sakura, heads up! |
The Rain Card floats just above Sakura, giggles, and starts raining on her.
Sakura | Mmm. Hey, you know. This isn't so bad. |
The rain gets much stronger, like a waterfall. Sakura runs away from the Rain's attack, then the Rain follows her giggling innocently.
Sakura | Aah! |
Kero | Sakura, it's just toying with you. Seal it right now! |
Sakura | I'm trying! It's too fast. |
Kero | Sakura, Cards can control some powers from other Cards. Use the Water Card against it! |
Sakura |
All right! The Water Card! Water Card, release and dispel! |
The released Water Card takes every rain drops in the form of a ribbon.
Sakura |
It's working! Water Card, form a sphere around Rain! |
Water Card encloses the Rain inside a water ball.
Kero | Hey, you got it! |
Sakura | Return to your power confined! Rain Card! |
The Rain is sucked on the tip of the sealing wand, and despite how hard it tried to escape it's finally sealed.
Madison | Great capture! |
Sakura |
Thanks, guys. There's one more thing left to take care of. [Faces the Wood] You're next! |
Kero | No, hold on! |
Sakura | Huh? |
As soon as Kero smiles at Sakura, all the vines inside Sakura's house glows and starts to shrink. The shrunk vines finally turns into a pretty female genie, who returns to its card form on its own.
Sakura | Oh. |
Kero | See, I told you she is a gentle card. |
Sakura | Just have to keep an eye on friends that I suppose. |
Kero | Hey, look at that! |
Madison | A rainbow. |
Sakura | It's beautiful. |
Sakura is signing her name on the Cards she captured.
Sakura | Sa-ku-ra. |
Kero | Maybe from now on, you remember to make the Cards your own. Huh, Sakura? |
Sakura | OK, I got the point, Kero. |
Kero | OK, in that case, I'm going go get some sleep. |
Sakura |
Good night, Kero. Sorry about all that. |
Madison | Don't worry. Videotaping this was way more exciting than any rides in the amusement park. |
Sakura | Yeah, That's true. |
Kero | [From upstairs] Sakura, come quick! |
Sakura&Madison | Huh? |
Sakura and Madison gets up to the first floor to find all the mess that was made by the vines.
Sakura | Huh? Whoa! Huh? No... It's worse than when I started. |
Madison | So, is there a Cleaning Card? |
Kero&Sakura | Nah. |
Hours later, Tori and Aiden come home.
Tori | Hey, squirt, we're home! |
They see the house is very clean. When they open the door to Sakura's room, Sakura is sleeping from fatigue.
Aiden | Thanks so much for doing the housework. We'll have some cake later on. |
Tori | Better let the name on it before she gets to it. |
Sakura | [In sleep] But I did write my name... |
