| Kero | Now you make a sense. I am Keroberos, the Guardian Beast of the Clow Book. You know, the one you opened? Bringing any bells here? |
| Sakura | Oh, yeah! All the cards have escaped from the book. |
| Kero | Yeah! Bingo! |
| Kero opens the curtain to let the sun light in. | |
| Kero | Yeah, it's a beautiful day! Hah, Cardcaptor Sakura? |
| Sakura | Kero, I told you I can't be a Cardcaptor. |

A-heh heh heh, so you can! [Opens the Clow Book] See? Look. You captured the Fly Card didn't you. See what I mean? |
| Sakura | That's just one, Kero. |
| Tori | [From downstairs] Sakura, breakfast's ready! |
| Sakura | Huh? Coming! |
| Sakura comes down to the dining room. | |
| Sakura | Morning, Tori. |
| Tori | Wow, come here to call you once? Must be a full moon. |
| Sakura | Someone woke me up, for your information! |
| Tori | Hmm? |

Uh! Uh, never mind. Whew... [Talks to a picture] Hey, Mom, good morning. |
| Back in Sakura's room, Kero is staying put on the Clow Book, when Sakura comes back. | |
| Sakura | Hah huff hunh... [Panting] |
| Kero | Hey, you're back! |
| Sakura | I brought you some cookies. |
| Kero | Hey, yeah, thanks! Humm... yamm yamm... |
| Sakura wears her cap and looks in a mirror. | |
| Sakura | I better be going. |
| Kero | I'll be right here when you get back. |
| Sakura | Tori and Dad both will be leaving for school soon. So you can turn on the TV for a while if you want. |
| Kero | You dad's still in school? |
| Sakura | He is a university professor. Don't leave this room as long as anyone else is at home, OK? You'll freak them out. |
| Kero | Absolutely. |
| Sakura | [Looks at clock] Aah! Look at the time! I'm suppose to meet Madison. Bye! |
| Sakura speeds up her rollerblade. | |
| Sakura | Why did I agree to meet in the morning? Better take a shortcut. |
| Sakura turns into the path beside the park, under the cherry trees in full bloom. She makes turns at some corners before getting to school. | |
| Sakura | Hmm, made it. |
| Sakura slides the door to the classroom open, and enters. | |
| Sakura | Wow! I'm the first one here! |
| At the moment Sakura takes her seat, Madison comes in. | |
| Sakura | Yawn! Hmm? |
| Madison | Hi, Sakura. You made it, Te-heh heh. |
| Sakura | Quite not early. |
| Madison | I'm glad to see you. |
| Sakura | So you got an idea for your project? |
| Madison | Yes, I do. But I have something out to show you first, Sakura. |
| Sakura | Huh...? |
| Madison takes out her camcorder, putting it on the desk. | |
| Sakura | A video? |
| Madison |
That's right. I really got great shots last night. [Presses play button] |
| On the video, somthing is flying in the night sky with the moon background. | |
| Sakura | Huh? What was that? |
| Madison | Here's the magnified version. |
| It was Sakura on the video, who was flying the sealing wand, with Kero by her side. | |
| Sakura | Unh! Unhh!! |
| Kero |
What's happening, Sakura?! [Jumps out of backpack] OK, Clow Card, bottom up! Where are you hiding? Oops. |
| Madison looks in the video and at Kero currently before her, in turn. | |
| Madison |
Wait... Huhh... It's you! |
| In the lunch time, Sakura and Madison are out in the schoolyard. | |
| Kero | Sorry I blew my cover. Kind of rusty. |
| Sakura | Why'd you follow me here? |
| Kero | Well, then, to tell you the truth, Sakura, I wanted to see your school was like. |
| Sakura | Hnh. |
| Madison | Well, uh, are you going to introduce her, Sakura? |
| Sakura | He... |
| Madison | He? |
| Sakura | ... says his name is Keroberos. |
| Madison | He doesn't seem like Keroberos. |
| Sakura | What do you think of Kero? |
| Madison | Much cuter. |
| Kero |
Hey! Watch who you're calling cute! I am the Guardian Beast, I am the protector of the Clow Cards. |
| Madison | Clow Cards? |
| Meanwhile, something strange is happening about the shadows of the kids playing dodge ball in the playground. The shadow of one kid leaves its owner, and jumps to and merges another kid's shadow. | |
| Besides, in the court yard, Kero is insisting Sakura show Madison how to use the magic. | |
| Kero | Come on, Sakura. Show her. No one's watching. |
| Sakura |
Hnh... O Key of Clow, power of magic, power of light. Surrender the wand, the force ignite! Release! |
| The key turns into the sealing wand, which Sakura grabs. | |
| Sakura | Hnh... |
| Madison | So that staff gives you magical powers? |
| Sakura | Well, I need a Card. |
| Kero | Like this! [Flashes the Windy Card] |
| Sakura | Kero, what are you... |
| Madison | You have got to let me film this. |
| After school, when kids are leaving school back home, the strange thing happens again. The shadows leave apart from the kids, get back into the school, and coalesce at the roof of the building. | |
| Next morning, kids are coming to schook cheerfully, when Sakura rollerblades into the school. | |
| Sakura | Good morning! |
| Girl | Morning. |
| Students crowd at the juction of school building, who all gaze on something strange in the playground. | |
| Sakura |
Huh? What's going on? |
| Chelsea | Oh, hi, there, Sakura. |
| Rita | Come look. |
| She can find that desks, chairs, box vaults, and every things are riotously piled up in the middle of the ground. | |
| Sakura | What happened? |
| Chelsea | No one knows. It was like this when we got here. |
| Sakura and the others rush to their classroom, where they find all the desks are piled up in the same manner. | |
| Sakura | Huh! |
| Chelsea | How could something like this happen? |
| Nikki | I don't know. But I'll bet we'll have to clean it up. |
| Girls | Hnh... |
| Madison walks in. | |
| Madison | Whoa... |
| Sakura | Hi, Madison. |
| Madison |
Someone sure made a mess last night. But why would anyone do this? Do you think it could've been one of those Clow Cards, Sakura? |
| Sakura | Ohh... |
| Sakura back home talks to Kero about what she saw in her school that morning. | |
| Kero | Mmm! It's a Clow Card, all right! |
| Madison | I knew it! |
| Sakura | Great. It makes a mess, and we'll get to clean up after it. |
| Madison | Hey, look at the bright side, we got off a class. |
| Sakura |
Yeah, I guess that was pretty cool. But what kind of Card would do that to school? |
| Kero | Ah... I don't know. What I do know is that you gotta find! |
| Sakura | What do you mean? |
| Kero | If this is the work of a Clow Card, you've got to capture it. |
| Sakura | What if I don't want to? |
| Kero | Who was it that let the Cards escape? |
| Sakura | Grrr. |
| Kero | So we go back to the school tonight. Yeah! |
| Sakura | Tonight?! There is no way! Not tonight! |
| Kero | We don't have a choice. Some Clow Cards don't come out to do their things until after dark. |
| Madison | The school could be very dangerous at night. |
| Sakura | Hey! She's right! |
| Madison | That's why I'm coming with you. I can't wait to videotape another card capture. |
| Kero | Then it's settle. Go tonight. |
| Sakura | Hmmm... |
| Kero | Yeah! |
| At night at 10, Sakura and Kero come to the school. | |
| Sakura | Kero, I don't like this. |
| Kero | Hmm, that's OK. Don't sweat it. You'll be just fine. Ahahaha. |
| Sakura | Why am I doing this again? |
| There is a horn blown from a black luxury car coming to them, leading a yellow van. The girl who gets out of the car is Madison. | |
| Madison | Sorry I'm late, Sakura. |
| Sakura | That's OK. We just got here. |
| Followingly, four women in black suit with sunglasses get out of the cars, and stand in line behind Madison. | |
| Madison | Let me introduce you. These four ladies are my bodyguards. |
| The four ladies bow to Sakura. | |
| Sakura | Unh! Uh, nice to meet you. |
| Bodyguard | Be careful, Miss. |
| Madison | Right. I'll call you when I need to be picked up again. |
| The four bodyguards go away from the spot, leaving the yellow van there. | |
| Sakura | Unreal. That is cool. You're the only kid I've ever seen with her own bodygurds! |
| Madison | Well, you're the only kid I've met who has magical powers. |
| Sakura | That's right... |
| Madison takes Sakura by the hand to the yellow van. | |
| Madison | Come on. |
| Sakura | Whoa. |
| Madison swings open the back door, and inside Sakura sees a lot of colorful costumes are stored. | |
| Madison | Voilà! |
| Sakura | Huh... What is all this? |
| Madison | OK, time to get changed. |
| Sakura | Wh-what do you mean? |
| Madison | Come on, you're going out to capture a Clow Card, am I right? |
| Sakura | Uh-huh. |
| Madison | Well, then, special occasions call for special outfits. |
| Sakura | What? |
| Kero | She is right! [Coming out of backpack] |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| Kero | The Clow Cards are more likely to take you serious if you look like you mean business. |
| Madison | You and I are going to get along great. |
| Kero | Go get changed, Sakura. |
| Madison | This is so much fun! Quite stalling, Sakura. |
| Sakura | Hey, wait a minute! |
| Madison | Get inside. |
| Madison pushes Sakura into the van, and slams the backdoor shut. | |
| When they get out of the van, Sakura is in a leotard-like costume with red beret and ret cloak, that has a big ribbon in front. Madison is videotaping her. | |
| Madison | You look amazing, Sakura. |
| Sakura | This is so embarrassing. |
| Madison | Oh, I forgot. I made something for you, too. |
| Kero | Oh, really? For me? |
| Kero comes out with a big red ribbon, with a sparkle at the knot. He is very pleased with the costume. | |
| Kero | Haha, oh, yeah! |
| Madison | There, you and Sakura match each other. |
| Kero | Thanks, partner! Ya-hahhh! |
| Sakura | I didn't sign up for this. |
| At this time, Sakura can hear something thud. | |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| Looking around the playground, she can't see a thing. | |
| Sakura | Hey, guys, did you just hear that? |
| Kero | Did we hear what? |
| Sakura | Hnh! [Steps back timidly] |
| Kero | There's a Clow Card somewhere nearby. |
| A sculpture fly toward them, and Sakura and Madison step aside from where they are, and at almost the same time it falls and stick on the ground where they used to be. The two girls are scare of what is happening. | |
| Sakura | It's falling. |
| The sculpture float above them again. | |
| Madison | Look! |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| On the ground Madison points to, there's a shadow of someone lifting the scuplture though it looks like floating. | |
| Madison | That there is a shadow when there is nobody. |
| Kero | Huh? You said shadow? |
| The shadow moves like hurling the sculpture, then the sculture falls toward the kids. They hurriedly step aside to dodge the falling sculpture, that goes off exploding sounds. | |
| Sakura | Kero, is that a Clow Card? |
| Kero | Yes, then. Huh? |
| Many human shadows are coming into the playground. | |
| Kero | The Shadow Card is behind this. |
| Sakura | Kero, take Madison someplace safe. |
| Kero | Sure thing, Sakura. |
| Sakura | O Key of Clow, power of magic, power of light, surrender the wand. The force ignite! Release! |
| Madison is videotaping Sakura from behind the shruberry. | |
| Madison | There she goes. |
| Sakura | Windy Card, break the shadows apart. Release and dispel! |
| On Sakura touching the staff on the Windy Card, the wind spirit spreads and breaks the attacking shadows apart. Even though it's torn apart, the shadows never stops attacking Sakura. | |
| Sakura | Aah! |
| Kero | Sakura! Use the Fly Card, and then get out of here! |
| Sakura | Aaah, Fly! |
| Sakura flies on the sealing wand in a haste. | |
| Kero | Oh, this isn't good. The Shadow Card has collected all the shodows of students of school. Sakura can't possibly defeat many shadows at once. |
| Madison | But isn't there some other way? |
| Kero | If the students' shadows were strucked by light, they would disappear, then Sakura can use her magic to capture the Shadow Card alone. Ah, but there won't be light out for hours. |
| Madison | That's what you think. Leave it to me. |
| Kero | Huh? |
| Breaking a window, a desk is shoot toward Sakura in the air, who barely doges. | |
| Sakura | Unh! |
| There's another desk comes fly to Sakura. In the classroom, many shadows are ready to throw another desk towars Sakura. | |
| Sakura | I'll never be able to stop all of them. So what do I do? |
| The shadows on the ground combine into one, and extends itself to grab the sealing wand Sakura is riding. The shadow is trying to pull her down to the ground. | |
| Sakura |
Oh! Unh! Hey! Let me go! Hey, unhhh! Unh! Somebody, help! |
| At this moment, all the lights in shool gets turned on, then all the shadows disappear, and in result, Sakura springs high in the air by the reaction. | |
| Sakura |
Whoaa! Huh? The shadows are gone. |
| Kero | Sakura, over here! |
| Madison | Heh heh heh. |
| Madison and Kero are waving their hands to Sakura in the control room. | |
| Sakura | What happened the shadows? |
| Kero | All the students' shadows disppered with the light that struck them. |
| Madison | We couldn't get the sun to come out, but even I can turn the lights on. How's that for a great idea? |
| Sakura | Fantastic job, Madison. |
| Kero | Hmm? Sakura! There's the shadow spirit. |
| The Shadow Card's visible form is walking at the corner of the playground. | |
| Sakura | Here goes nothing. |
| Sakura flies rushing straight to the Shadow, and the spirit notices her approach, throwing some bands of shadows, but she turns aside nimbly. | |
| Sakura | Hunh! |
| Madison | Now's your chance, Sakura. [Videotaping] |
| Kero | Show that Card who's the boss! |
| Sakura | Windy Card, become the chain and tie Shadow up. Release and dispel! |
| The Windy tightly ties up the Shadow motionless. | |
| Sakura | I command you to return to you power confined. Shadow Card! |
| The shadow spirit is pulled to the tip of the sealing wand, and turns back into its card form. | |
| Kero | Whoo-hooo! Yeah! You did it, Sakura! Way to go! |
| Madison | What a great shot! |
| Next day, Sakura runs in the hall, when she comes across Chelsea. | |
| Sakura | Hey, Chelsea, have you seen Madison? |
| Chelsea | Sure have. I just saw her in the video room. |
| Sakura | Thanks a lot. |
| Sakura takes out a small gift for Madison before opening the door to the video room. | |
| Sakura |
Hey, Madison. Thanks for your help last night. I brought you a... What the... |
| Madison is ecstasically enjoying the video from last she took of Sakura's card capture. | |
| Madison | I can't believe how well this came out. |
| Sakura | So you took everything last night? |
| Madison | Of course. I didn't miss a single second of capture. Promise you'll take me to another card capture, OK? |
| Sakura | Huh? |
| Madison | This is the most exciting footage of all I've videotaped. |
| Sakura | Sure, Madison. |
| Madison | Huhhh... And from now on, I'm in charge of your costumes, too. Wait until you see the design of your next capture. |
| Sakura | Huh? Uh heh heh... |
