One Fateful Day

Sakura is having a dream, in which an old book appears which is unlocked. The book opens, and inside is another scene of dream that Sakura is on the rooftop of a building dressed in pink outfits, and holding a staff one end of which is shaped like a bird's head. A yellow stuffed animal-like crature hovers beside her. さくらは夢を見ている。古い本が現れ、ロックがはずれて本が開く。本の中に見えるのは、さらに別の夢のシーン。さくらはピンクの衣装を着て、片方の端が鳥の頭のような形をした杖をもってビルの屋上に立っている。隣には黄色いぬいぐるみのような生き物が浮かんでいる。
Sakura	It's the dream. また、この夢。
Facing a radio tower, Sakura jumps off the building when small wings appear on her shoes. タワーを正面に見て、靴に小さな翼が現れ、さくらはビルから飛び出す。
The alarm clock beeps to wake Sakura up. 目覚まし時計が鳴り、さくらは目を覚ます。
Sakura	Ugh! Uhhh! Ohh... Unh?
The clock says it's 7. 時計は7時を指している。
Sakura	Yawn, what a wierd dream. ふわぁ。ヘンな夢。
Aiden	[from downstairs] Sakura, hurry up, or you're going to be late! [一階から呼ぶ] さくらさん、急がないと遅れますよ!
Sakura	Coming! は～い!
Sakura jumps out the bed and changes her clothes for school. さくらベッドから飛び起き、学校に行く準備をする。
Sakura	This was the day that changed my life, the day I discovered the Clow Book. It started out like every other morning. And as usual, I was already late. これがあたしの運命を変えた日、つまり、クロウカードの本を見つけた日だったの。はじめは、いつもの普通の朝と変わらないんだけど。いつものように、あたしは遅刻しそう。
Organizing herself, combing her hair, and brusing her teath, she then comes into the dining room. 荷物をまとめ、髪をといて、歯をみがき、それから、さくらはダイニングにやってくる。
Sakura	Morning! おはよう!
Tori	Sakura, retry it. Do you think you can be any louder? さくら、もういっぺん歩いてみろよ。もっとうるさくできないか?
Sakura	I wasn't that loud. そんなにうるさくしてないもん。
Tori	Sounded like a small dinosaur up there. 二階で怪獣が歩いるみたいだったぞ。
Sakura	I was walking normally! 普通に歩いてたもん!
Tori	Hey, I'm lucky. How many guys get a dinosaur up for a little sister. めずらしいよな。妹が怪獣だなんて、他に誰もいねーぞ、そんなの。
Sakura	Stop calling me a dinosaur! さくらを怪獣と呼ばないで!
Sakura grows big like a dinosaur and stomps on Tori. But that's merely her imagination. さくらは怪獣のように大きくなって桃矢を踏みつぶす。というのは、単にさくらの願望だけど。
Aiden	And OK, you could sit anyway. さ、座って食事にしましょう。
Sakura	Hahh. わぁぁ。
Aiden brings breakfast for Sakura. 藤隆がさくらの朝食をもってくる。
Sakura	My dad found the Clow Book in the university, no one could open it. He said there was something unusual about the book that made him bring it home. 実は、お父さんが大学でクロウカードの本を見つけたの。でも、誰も開けられなくて、お父さんが言うには、その本は普通の感じがしなくて、思わず、本をもって帰ったんだって。
Aiden	Here you go! さ、めしあがれ。
Sakura	Smells great! おいしそう!
Sakura	[Meaning the picture on the table] That's my mom. Even though she died a long time ago, I'd like to think she's watching over me. And I think she'd be proud. [テーブルの上の写真を見て] これがお母さん。もう、ずいぶん前に亡くなったんだけど、ずっとあたしを見ているって思ってるの。で、あたしのことを大切に思ってくれてるって。
Sakura wears rollerblades and protect gears, then she leaves home for school. さくらはローラーブレードを履いて、プロテクトギアを装着し、家を出る。
Sakura	Bye, Dad. 行ってきま～す。
Aiden	Better hurry, if you gotta catch up with Tori. Are you staying late tonight? 急がないと、桃矢くんに追いつきませんよ。今日は帰りが遅いの?
Sakura	Yeah, I got practice. うん、練習があるの。
Aiden	Have a good day! 行ってらっしゃい!
Sakura speeds up rollerblading to catch up with Tori. さくらはローラーブレードのスピードを上げて桃矢を追いかける。
Sakura	I hope I can catch up with him. お兄ちゃんに追いつかなきゃ。
Sakura makes her way into the path along the park pivotting a pole she grabs. さくらはポールをつかんで、そこを支点にして、小道に入り込む。
Sakura	Wow. わぁ!
She can see cherry blossoms full in bloom above her. 頭上には桜の花が咲き乱れている。
Sakura	And this is how it all began. こうしてすべてが始まったの。
Sakura	Hahahah... Hahahah... Oh, good! There's Tori. Tori, wait up! あは... あはは... あ、お兄ちゃんだ! よかった。お兄ちゃん、待って!
She catches up with Tori on a bike. さくらは桃矢の自転車に追いつく。
Tori	Hey, relax. What's the big hurry, squirt? おい、あわてるな。そんなに急いでどうしたんだ?
Sakura	[Panting] Nothing. I hope he's riding with us to school today. [息を切らせる] なんでもない。今日もあの人と一緒に学校に行けるといいな。
Tori	There he is. お、いたいた。
Sakura	Huph... Julian. はっ... 雪兎さん。
Julian is waiting under a cherry tree for them, with his bike aside. 雪兎は、自転車を止めて、桜の樹の下で二人を待っている。
Julian	Uh, hey guys! やあ、おはよう!
Tori	Uhh, what's up? よぉ、ユキ。
Julian	Uh, not much. Uh, hey, Sakura. You are sure early today. 桃矢。あ、さくらちゃん、今日も早いんだね。
Sakura	Yeah. はい。
Tori	Gee, I can think of the reason why. なんとなく、理由はわかるけどな。
Sakura	Mm! ん!
Julian	You can ride to school with us anytime. さくらちゃん、学校に行くのはいつも一緒だね。
Sakura	Sometimes I can't believe Julian and my brother are friends. They have nothing like each other. Julian's always so nice to me. And he's so cute! 雪兎さんがお兄ちゃんのお友達だなんて信じられないの。二人ともちっとも似てないし、雪兎さんはいつも優しくしてくれるし、それに、とてもカッコいいの!
Julian	Catch you later, Sakura. じゃ、またね、さくらちゃん。
Sakura	Uhh... I wish I was in high school, too. <あ... あたしも高校生だったらなぁ.../SPAN>

Sakura comes into Madison at the entrance of the school building. さくらは校舎の入口で知世に会う。
Madison	So, d'you come out with the independent study topic yet. で、自由研究の題材でも見つかりましたか?
Sakura	No. ううん。
Madison	I thought up of a best idea. I'm making a documentary on the life of a fourth grade girl. わたし、すばらしい考えを思いつきましたの。小学4年生の生活をドキュメンタリーにしようと思いますのよ。
Sakura	You are... それって、まさか...
Sakura	Madison always comes out with the best ideas for independent study. Last year her project was the best in our class. 知世ちゃんは、いつも、自由研究のすごいアイデアを考えつくの。去年は、知世ちゃんの研究がクラスで一番だったの。
Madison	Oh, yeah. And I need you to be my fouth grade girl. Can I videotape you after school? あ、そうですわ。さくらちゃんに、その4年生の女の子になっていただきたいんです。放課後、さくらちゃんを撮影してもよいでしょうか?
Sakura	I guess so. If you don't mind shooting a video, drop in practice. 大丈夫だよ。ビデオ撮影したかったら、クラブの練習中に寄ってみてよ。
In English class, the teacher is reading a stoy from the textbook. 国語の時間、碧 (みどり) 先生が教科書を朗読している。
Teacher	The ancient Egyptians worshipped the Sun God, Ra. Now, Ra was considered to be powerful, and so, the symbol chosen to represent him was a single eye that watched over his people. 古代エジプト人は、太陽神ラーを崇 (あが) めていました。さて、ラーは力強い存在と考えられていましたから、ラーを象徴するものといえば、民を見守る一つの目だったのです。
Meanwhile, Sakura casually draws some imaginary tiny beast with wings. ちょうどその時、さくらは何気なく、翼をもつ空想上の小さな動物の絵を描いている。
Madison	I like your drawing, Sakura. What is it? かわいい絵ですね、さくらちゃん。なんですの?
Sakura	You mean this? この絵?
Teacher	Sakura, continue reading. 木之本さん、次を読んでください。
Sakura	OK. Tell you later. はい。あとでね。
Madison	We're on line forty-eight. 48行目ですわ。
Sakura	The Sun God Ra was considered so powerful that only very special people could even speak his name. 太陽神ラーは非常に強力であると考えらていたので、特別なごく限られた人しかラーの名前を口にすることはありませんでした。

In cheerleading practice, Sakura shows her back flip to all the squad. チアリーディングの練習中、さくらはみんなに後方宙返りをしてみせる。
Girls	Hey!! That was really good! うわぁぁ!
Nikki	That was a perfect back flip. きれいなバック宙だよね。
Chelsea	I know. うん。
Ms. Moore	Everyone, grab your batons for practice. みんな。練習をしますから、バトンを持って。
Girls	Right. はい。
The squad starts baton twirling practice. Sakura is thinking to herself when twirling her baton. 部員はバトンの練習を始める。さくらはバトンを回しながら考え事をしている。
Sakura	I can't stop thinking of that dream I had last night. Maybe I'll ask Madison about it. 今朝の夢のことが頭から離れない。あとで知世ちゃんに訊いてみようかな。
Sakura's baton looks as if it were the staff that she had in her dream. さくらのバトンが、夢の中で持っていた杖みたいに見える。
Sakura	Huh? ほえ?
She gapes at the baton until she got it on the head. さくらはあっけにとられ、バトンはそのまま頭に直撃。
Sakura	Aw! あう!
Girls	Oh! あら!
Chelsea	Sakura may be the best baton twirler our school has ever had. さくらちゃんて、学校始まって以来一番のバトンの使い手かもしれないけど...
Nikki	Mm-hmm. うん。
Chelsea	But sometimes she's a real klutz. でも、時々ああなるんだよね。
Nikki	Mm-hmm. うんうん。
Sakura comes home. さくらは帰宅する。
Sakura	Hi! I'm home! Dad? Tori? ただいま～! お父さん? お兄ちゃん?
Sakura trots into her house, when Sakura hears some bubbling noise. さくらが家に駆け込むと、泡のような物音が聞こえる。
Sakura	Huh? Hmm. ほえ? んん。
Sakura opens the refridgerator. さくらは冷蔵庫を開ける。
Sakura	Whoa, pudding. うわ、プリンだ。
At the moment she reaches the pudding, she can hear the bubbling noise again. さくらがプリンに手をのばした瞬間、再び、泡のような物音が聞こえる。
Sakura	Huh? What's that noise? え? なんの音だろう?
Sakura timidly walks out in the hall holding her baton. さくらは、おそるおそる、バトンを構えて廊下に出る。
Sakura	It's coming from Dad's library. I wish Dad or Tori were here. お父さんの書庫からだ。お父さんもお兄ちゃんもいないのに。
The noise continues in the basement, so she walks slowly close to the door to the basement. その物音が地下室で鳴り続いているので、さくらはゆっくりと、地下室へのドアに近づく。
Sakura	Ooh. I'll take a look inside. If someone's there, I'll call the police. んん。ちょっと覗いて、もし誰かがいたら、警察さんを呼ぼう。
Sakura opens the door, and begins to walk down the stairs. さくらはドアを開け、階段を下り始める。
Sakura	Please let it just be the furnace. 単なる暖房の音でありますように。
Stepping on the basement, Sakura timidly walks between bookshelves in Aiden's library. Just one more corner, she's getting at the bottom, so she encourages herself to step out. 地下室の床に降り立ち、さくらは藤隆の書庫の本棚の間を歩く。あと一回だけ角を曲がれば行き止まりになるので、さくらは勇気を奮い起こして、飛び出す。
Sakura	Ha! There's no one there. Huh? むっ! 誰もいない。ん?
While Sakura is looking all around, a Book glows among other books in the shelf. さくらがあたりを見回している間、書棚の本のうちの1冊が光り始める。
Sakura	Where's that glowing coming from? Huh? この光は、いったいどこから? え?
Sakura notices and step forward to the glowing book. When she's about to reach the book, it quits glowing. さくらは気づいて、光る本に近づく。さくらが手をのばすと、本は光るのをやめる。
Sakura	Huh? え?
Sakura takes the book out of the shelf, and gasps at the look of the book. It's an ancient book titled ``The Clow'' with a mighty beast on the front cover, which is locked at the right-edge. さくらは書棚から本を取りだし、本の姿を見ると息をのむ。その本はThe Clow (ザ・クロウ) というタイトルがついていて、表紙には力強い獣が印刷されていて、側面には鍵がかかっている。
Sakura	What a cool book. すごい古い本。
Suddenly, the book is unlocked, so Sakura almost drops the book with an astonishment. 突然、本の鍵が開き、さくらは驚いて本を落としそうになる。
Sakura	Whoat! Unh! Huh? うわっ! あわ! ん?
Sakura opens the unlocked book, and finds a deck of cards inside. さくらは鍵の開いたその本を開け、中にカードが何枚も入っているのを見つける。
Sakura	They're cards. カードだ。
Sakura picks up the one on the top. さくらは一番上のカードを取る。
Sakura	``The Windy.'' Hmm. I wonder what it's for. ウインデイ。ふ～ん。これなんだろう。
Meanwhile, the air around her feet begins to swirl. その時、さくらの足もとで空気が渦を巻き始める。
Sakura	``Windy.'' ウィンディ。
The card flashes at her read-out, a madala glows under her feet, and a strong gust of wind occurs. さくらがカードの名前をいうと、カードが輝き、足下に魔法陣が現れ、突風が吹く。
Sakura	Aah! きゃあ!
The wind blows like a whirlpool. 竜巻のように風が吹く。
Sakura	Aah! Aah! Aah! うわあ! あぁぁ! ああっ!
The wind blows out every cards from the deck. The blown cards penetrates the wall and spring out of her house. その風はカードをすべて吹き飛ばす。飛ばされたカードは壁を通り抜け、家の外に飛び出していく。
The wind continues until no cards remains in the book. Sakura collapses on the floor with a shock, with the Windy Card in her hand. 風がやむと、本の中にカードは一枚も残っていなかった。さくらは放心状態で、ウィンディのカードをもったまま座り込む。
Sakura	What just happened? いったい、なんだったの?
Moreover, the book glows bright. さらに、本が明るい光を放つ。
Sakura	Baah! うわぁぁ!
At the next minute, a little beast with wings pops out of the glowing book. He hovers in front of Sakura, and wakes up. 次の瞬間、翼をもつ小さな動物が、光を放つその本から出て来る。その動物は、さくらの前に浮上すると、目を覚ます。
Kero	Hi-dee ho-dee how-dee! Aw, thank you so much for waking me up, little girl. I have been stuffed in the book for like forever! こにゃにゃちは～! あんさん、よーわいを目覚めさせてくれましたな～。わいは、ずいぶん長い間この本に閉じ込められてましたんや!
Sakura reaches and grabs the stuffed toy-like creature. さくらは手をのばして、そのぬいぐるみのような生物をつかむ。
Kero	Whoa-ahh! おわぁうわっ!
Sakura	What are you? Some kind of squirrel? A toy? Where do the batteries? なにこれ? リスかなにか? ぬいぐるみ? 電池はどこ?
Kero	I am not a toy! I am Keroberos, Guardian Beast of the Seal of the Clow Book. おもちゃやない! わいはケルベロスや。クロウカードの封印の獣や。
Sakura	You are a Guardian Beast? 封印の獣?
Kero	Yeah! You got it, sister. You can call me Kero. I keep the Clow Cards from getting into trouble. See? せや、そうゆーことなんや、お譲ちゃん。ま、ケロと呼び。わいは、クロウカードが悪させんように見張っとんのや。ほら。
Kero opens the Book to try to show Sakura his Cards. ケロは本を開けて、さくらにカードを見せようとする。
Kero	Huh? Whoa! No-ho-ho-ho! My Clow Cards! Where are my Cards? My precious Cards! って? どわぁぁ! ないぃぃっ! カードがない! どこ行ってもうたんや? わいのカード!
Kero cries and gets depressed. ケロは泣き叫んで、落ち込む。
Sakura	Is this what you're looking for? 探してるのはこれ?
Kero	Huh? Oh, the Windy Card! That's it! Thank you. So, uh, where's the rest? ん? おっ, ウィンディのカードや! これやがな! おおきに。で、残りのカードは?
Sakura	Well, as soon as I read the word ``Windy,'' ... あのね、あたしが「ウィンディ」って読むとね...
Kero	Yeah? うん。
Sakura	This huge wind started blowing. 強い風が吹いてね...
Kero	Yeah, yeah? それから、それから?
Sakura	Heh heh heh, and they blew away. あはは、全部、飛んでっちゃったぁ。
Kero	Ha ha! Blew away! はは、そうか、飛んでったかぁ!
Sakura & Kero	Ha ha ha ha. あはははは。
Kero's look changes. ケロの表情が変わる。
Kero	What-oooh? なにぃぃぃ?!

Sakura hurriedly fill herself with dinner. さくらは急いで夕食をつめこむ。
Sakura	Ah! There, I'm all finished! ふぅ! ごちそうさま!
Sakura takes the dishes into the sink, picks up a pudding out of the refridgerator, and runs out. さくらは食器を流しに運び、冷蔵庫からプリンを取り出し、走り去る。
Sakura	See you! じゃ!
Tori	Where are you taking that? それもって、どこ行くんだ?
Sakura	Up to my room to eat. お部屋で食べるの。

Sakura comes back in her room. さくらは部屋に戻ってくる。
Sakura	Hey. ねえ。
Kero	Aw, it's no use. Only a true Cardcaptor can bring the Cards back. あぁ、ダメや。ホンマもんのカードキャプターやないとカードを戻せへん。
Sakura	I brought some pudding. プリンもってきたよ。
Kero	Oh, my favorite! Aw, the book I was guarding got Clow Cards inside it. おお、わいの好物や! おっと、わいが見張っとった本は、中にクロウカードが入っとったんや。
Sakura	Clow Cards? クロウカードって?
Kero	They're dangerous forces. Now that the seal has been broken, there's no telling what they'll do. The Clow Cards were created by a very powerful magician named Clow Reed. Each Clow Card has its own character and special powers. They were designed to be free, but the Cards grew so strong willful that they couldn't be controlled. So Clow Reed created the book to keep the Cards in, with a protect of seal on the cover. 危険な力を持つカードや。カードの封印が解かれた今となっては、カードが何をしでかすか、さっぱりわからん。クロウカードゆーのは、強力な魔術師クロウ・リードが創ったカードや。カードの1枚1枚には、別々の性格と特別なパワーが込められとる。カードは自分勝手に動きたがる上に、強い意志をもっとって、普通の力のもんには歯止めが効かん。せやから、クロウリードはこの本を創ってカードを閉じこめて、本の表紙に封印をしたんや。
Sakura	They sound dangerous. なんか、危ないんだね。
Kero	Mm-hmm, and that's why I got to get them back. And you're going to help me. ああ、せやからカードを取り戻さなあかんのや。で、あんたにも手伝うてもらうで。
Sakura	Huh? Why do I have to? え? なんであたしが?
Kero	Because you're the one who summoned the Windy Card and set them free in the first place! もとはといえば、おまえがウィンディつこて、カードをバラけさせてしもたんやろが!
Sakura	Yeah, but it was your job to guard the seal, and make sure the Clow Cards didn't escape. そうだけど、あなたの仕事って、封印を見張ってて、カードが逃げないようにすることでしょ?
Kero	I know. I, uh, just took a little nap. けや。けど、ちょっと居眠りしてたさかい。
Sakura	For how long? どれくらい?
Kero	Thirty years or so. I never said being a guardian was easy! 30年ほど。封印の獣も、結構、大変なんやぁ!
Kero jumps onto the cover of the Clow Book. ケロはクロウカードの本の上に飛び乗る。
Kero	But if you were able to open the Clow Book's seal, you must have very strong magical powers. So, what's your name, anyway? しかし、クロウカードの封印を開けれたゆーことは、おまえさん、強い魔力をもっとるゆーとや。で、おまえさん、名前は?
Sakura	Sakura. さくら。
Kero	OK, Sakura, go stand over there. よっしゃ、さくら。ちょいとそこに立ってみ。
Sakura	OK. うん。
As soon as Sakura stands in the middle of her room, Kero begins to glow, and a mandala appears under her feet. She can feel as if she was put in a mysterious place. 部屋の中央にさくらが立つと、ケロは輝き始め、さくらの足もとに魔法陣が現れる。さくらは神秘的に場所に置かれたような気分になる。
Sakura	Huh? ほえ?
Kero	Key to the seal, this girl will carry out a sacred promise. Her name is Sakura. I command you to bestow her with magical powers. Release the power! Key to the seal, you have chosen this girl Sakura to carry out the sacred promise. I command you to empower her with the language of the staff! Release the power! 封印の鍵よ、ここに汝と契約せんする少女あり。その名はさくら。少女に魔力を授けよ! レリーズ!
A key comes out of the book, flies to above the center of the mandala, and flashes at Kero's command. 鍵が本の外に飛び出して、魔法陣中央の上に飛んでいき、ケロの呪文でパッと輝く。
Sakura	Aah! うわっ!
The shining key grows and turns into a staff, 輝く鍵は、大きくなって、杖の形になる。
Sakura	Aah! あぁっ!
Kero	Sakura, take the staff. さくら、杖を取るんや。
Blindend by the light, Sakura walks to the staff and grabs it. 光に目がくらみながら、さくらは杖に向かって歩き、杖を取る。
Kero	All right. I, Keroberos, name Sakura Cardcaptor! よっしゃぁ。われ、ケルベロス、さくらをカードキャプターに任命する!
Sakura	Aah... はぁ...

Sakura is whining about Kero's cheat, blowing her hair with a hair drier. さくらは、ドライヤーで髪を乾かしながら、ケロにだまされたことに文句を言いっている。
Sakura	This is crazy. No way. I'm not doing it. カードキャプターだなんて無理だよ。やらないからね。
Kero	Ah, that pudding hit the spot. あ～、プリン食えてホンマ満足やわぁ。
Sakura seizes Kero in delight bouncing up and down on the bed. さくらは、ベッドで跳ねるケロの首をつかむ。
Sakura	Unh! むっ!
Kero	Ugh! おわっ!
Sakura	Listen. I can't be a Cardcaptor. いい? あたし、カードキャプターなんて無理。
Kero	I'm not so sure about that. You now control the staff with your powers. そんなこと思わんけどなぁ。自分の魔力つこて杖を操るだけやで。
Sakura	Yeah, well, I'm just a kid. I'm not old enough to capture the Cards yet. うん、でも、あたしまだ子供だよ。あたし、まだ、カードキャプターになるというのは。
Kero	Yeah, well, you were old enough to let the Clow Cards loose. せや、クロウカードをバラけさせるゆーんは、子供ができることやないで。
Sakura	They'd still be in the Book if you hadn't taken a thiry-year nap. あなたが30年も居眠りしてなかったら、カードはまだ、本の中だったのよ。
Sakura & Kero	Mmm. うむむ。
At this time, a strong wind blows thruough the window. その時、窓から強い風が吹き込む。
Kero	Whoa! どわぁ!
Sakura	Where'd that come from? この風はどこから?
Kero	Sakura! さくら!
Sakura	Huh? なに?
Taking a look where Kero is pointing to, Sakura can see a gigantic bird is flying above houses. ケロが指さす方向を見ると、さくらの目に、家々の上を飛行する巨大な鳥が見える。
Sakura	What's that? あれはなに?
Kero	It's a Clow Card! クロウカードや!
Sakura	Here? こんなところに?
Kero	It's the Fly Card all right. Well, don't just stand there! Do something! 間違いなく、フライのカードやな。ぼぉっとしとる場合か。はよせんか!
Sakura	Like what? なにを?
Kero	Get out there and capture the Clow Card! 外に出て、クロウカードを捕まえるんや!
Sakura	What? ええっ?

The gigantic bird lands in the town. With a swing of its wing, a gust of wind cracks the windows of nearby houses. その巨大な鳥は街に降りる。翼をひとふりすると、強風で近くの家の窓が割れる。
Sakura	You could've at least let me change. 着替えぐらいさせてくれても。
Kero	A true Cardcaptor can battle in anything, even in pajamas. 真のカードキャプターゆーのは、どんな服装でも戦うんや。パジャマでもな。
Sakura arrives where the Fly Card is standing. さくらはフライのカードが立っているところに着く。

Kero	You're a Cardcaptor! カードキャプターやろが!
The Fly Card screeche and blasts a gust of wind against Sakura. フライは高い声を上げて、さくらに強風を吹きつける。
Sakura	Huh? へっ?
Kero	Yeah! きた!
Sakura blow away in the night sky. さくらは夜空に吹き飛ばされる。
Sakura	Aah! きゃあ!
Kero quickly catches up with her in the air, bites her by the collar and gets her on her feet safely. ケロは空中で、素早くさくらに追いつき、パジャマの襟をくわえて、さくらを無事に地面に戻す。
Sakura	Wh-whoa. うわわわ。
Kero	Sakura, use your magic. さくら、魔法を使うんや。
Sakura	Huh? え?
Kero	Just call on the key like I showed you before. 鍵に呪文をとなえるんや。さっき教えたようにやるんや。
Sakura	Hmm. うん。
Sakura reaches into her pocket and takes out the magic key. さくらはポケットに手を入れて、魔法の鍵を取り出す。
Sakura	O Key of Clow, power of magic, power of light, surrender the wand, the force ignite! Release! 闇の力を秘めし鍵よ、真の姿を我の前に示せ。契約のもと、さくらが命じる。レリーズ!
Kero	Ready, Sakura? The Fly Card has already revealed its true form. You should be able to use the Windy Card to capture it. ええか、さくら? フライは既に正体を現しとる。ウィンディのカードを使えば、封印できるはずや。
Sakura	I don't know. ホントかなぁ。
Kero	You'll just have to get up close to it and help... それじゃ、もっと近づいて、それから...
Sakura	Huh? Aah! え? あぁ!
Kero	Whoa! うわ!
The Card is hovering and aim at Sakura. Next moment, it comes and flies to her, so she ducks. フライはさくらを狙って、空中で止まっている。次の瞬間、フライが向かってくるので、さくらは姿勢を低くする。
Sakura	I think it's after us. あたしたちを狙ってるみたい。
Kero	Sakura, call the Windy Card. さくら、ウィンディのカードや。
The Card makes a turn up above to attack them again. カードは次の攻撃のために、上空で旋回する。
Kero	Whoa-aa! Today would be good! うわぁぁ! どえらいこっちゃ!
Sakura ducks at the moment the Card flies past her. フライがさくらをかすめる瞬間、さくらは姿勢を低くする。
Kero	Sakura, you got to use the Card now! さくら、はよ、カードを使うんや!
Sakura	But it's chasing us! でも、追いかけてきてるよ!
Sakura rollerblades to make a run for it. The Card is following her flying low. さくらはローラーブレードで逃げる。カードは低く飛んで、さくらを追う。
Sakura	Let's get out of here! 逃げなきゃ!
Kero	You are the Cardcaptor. If you can't stop no one can! カードキャプターやろ。さくらがやらんで誰がやる!?
Sakura	But I don't know how. Huh? Wait! I've got an idea. でも、どうやったらいいの? え? そうだ! 考えがある。
Sakura speeds up rollerblading and get ahead. さくらは速度を上げて、前に飛び出す。
Kero	Please just hurry! はよするんやで!
Fly hit the ground with its leg, then some block of pavement and Kero blow away. フライが脚で地面を叩くと、舗装面とケロが吹き飛ぶ。
Kero	Whoa-aa-aa! Sakura! うわわわぁ! さくらぁ!
Sakura gets up on the paved sidewall of the cliff, when Fly flies next to her. She flips herself onto Fly's back. さくらは、舗装された崖肌に上がり、フライがさくらの横に並ぶ。さくらは、体をひるがえして、フライの背中に上がる。
Sakura	Hyaa! Ugh! えいっ! うっ!
Kero	Be careful! 気ぃつけいやぁ!
Fly flies up high to shake off Sakura, so she has to hang on. フライは、さくらを振り落とそうと、上空高く上がる。さくらは、もちこたえるしかない。
Sakura	Windy Card, form a chain and tie up the Fly Card's wings! Windy! 風よ、戒めの鎖となれ。ウィンディ!
Windy ties up all around the Fly, and it crashes on the ground with Sakura on its back. ウィンディは、フライを縛り上げ、フライはさくらを乗せたまま墜落する。
Sakura	Clow Card, I command you to return to the power confined! Fly Card! 汝のあるべき姿に戻れ! クロウカード!
The gigantic bird changes its form into a card as if sucked in at the tip of the staff. 巨大な鳥は、杖の先端に引き込まれるかのように、カードの形に変化する。
Kero	You did it, Sakura! さくら、やったやないか!
Sakura	I didn't think I could! もうダメかと思ったよぉ!
Kero	Why, you did. That's why I chose you, kid. でも、できたやないか。それでこそ、わいが選んだカードキャプターや。
Sakura	I told you that I can't be a Cardcaptor. だから、あたし、カードキャプターなんか無理だってば。
Kero	Oh, come on! You mean you gonna quit it now just because it is not easy? Hahaha! おいおい、ちょっと大変だから辞めたいなんて言うてないよなぁ? あはははは
Sakura	Mmm. むぅ。
Kero	Besides, you've captured the Fly Card. Touch your staff to it. それでや、これでフライのカードが捕まった。ちょいと杖を当ててみ。
Sakura	Why? What's gonna happen? え? どうなるの?
Kero	Just give it a try. いいから、やってみ。
Sakura	Fly! フライ!
On Sakura touching the Card with the staff, the staff gets a pair of big wing that allows Sakura fly as long as she rides on the staff, just like a witch on a broom. さくらが杖でカードに触れると、杖に翼が生えて、ホウキに乗る魔女のようにさくらが杖にまたがると空を飛べるようになる。
Kero	So how do you like flying? 空を飛んだ気分はどうや?
Sakura	It's the best! もう最高!
Kero	I knew I could count on you, Cardcaptor Sakura. これからも期待しとるで、カードキャプターさくら。
Sakura	Yeah! Uh, wait a minute. I haven't agreed to anything yet. うん! って、ちょっと待ってよ。あたし、やるなんて、一言も言ってないよ。
Sakura	Kero was right. He could count on me. And from that day on, my life would never be the same. ケロちゃんの言いうとおり、あたしにはできる。そして、その日から、あたしの毎日はすっかり変わったの。
